Despite it being called "Block Bounce", you don't actually bounce on the red blocks. Took me 30 minutes to figure that out
A bouncing block has one of the shortest life spans of any entity in existence. In this nightmarish 2-D realm, you are constantly assaulted by horizontally-moving death blocks that spawn ceaselessly from the void, absolutely determined to wipe out anything that dares to traverse the vertical axis. You cannot stop. You cannot slow down. You can only do your best to dodge left and right in order to continue what you were brought into this world to do - bounce. There is no way to win. You will not survive. Your block bears a constant expression of fatalistic terror, knowing its life will inevitably end within seconds of coming into the world. Lasting 10 seconds against the onslaught gives you about 18 bounces to savour, the sombre tones of a mournful, funereal dirge accompanying your slow-motion passage to the afterlife. Lasting 20 seconds seems frustratingly possible but just always out of reach. Lasting 30 seconds - unobtainable to those without an iron will, lightning fast reflexes, sheer luck and an inexhaustible wellspring of patience. 19.24 was the longest I could survive, every second a desperate struggle to stay alive against an utterly ruthless and persistent enemy. Yet the desire to beat my time drives me to hit that restart button again and again, despite knowing that time after time I will most likely fail. But perhaps life isn't about how long you live, or the constant obstacles that are thrown at you, or that ever-elusive goal you are striving for, its about doing what you enjoy the most in the brief time you have. And this block sure loves to bounce. Life is short. Bounce while you can.
This game is like your local Wetherspoons on a Saturday night - Bouncing, absolutely F'ing bouncing, Full, Full T'brim! If you love rage games, then this one is for you! Simple game play loop that makes you keep clicking "play again"
The game is simple but very addictive and somehow both relaxing and rage-inducing.
Makes me very cross indeed, yet I find myself pressing restart every time and clenching my jaw even more. Perfect after a long day of not being angry
Very fun game, extremely addictive gameplay!!
This game made me feel genuine joy after experiencing lots of pain. Luckily for me, I'm a masochist, so win-win.
Fun and addictive. Strongly recommend to fans of arcadey games and fat-free minimalist indie games
It's Fast and gets me Furious.
We don't like the red ones. Reason? Don't know. This game is fun, very difficult to get a high time too, best I've gotten is 22 Seconds as of writing this, but highly addicting. For anyone who likes something to sink time into, this is for you.
