Blazing Trail

4.5/10 This does have the intensity of old arcade shooters, but this really needed way more time in the oven. I got it in a bundle for 2 bucks and even that isn't worth it. The game looks alright but I've seen better pixel art. The sound sounds like stock sounds and the music loops are short and repetitive. The controls suck, and there's no way to change them. PC gaming in the 2020 for you. They should have gone with more of a twin stick setup, or maybe something like shock troopers. It's really annoying that weapons, apart from the machine gun that can only shoot upwards for some reason, only shoot ahead when the game feels like you should be able to strafe and shoot. The worst part is the way the cranked up the difficulty feels cheap, rather than a fun and genuine challeng. For example, on the first stage they decided to slow your progress with mines. Who thought that making you sweep invisible mines in a vehicle shooter was a good idea? And your vehicle is so slow that it feels impossible to dodge a lot of attacks, especially from bosses. And while there are checkpoints, if you die you lose all your weapons and laser batteries, making bosses even harder. You're better off replaying the stage if you die in a boss fight past the first one. All in all, a very cheap experience that ruins any fun to be had, as I doubt even experts of the bullet dodging would find a reason to play this over better games.

✨️Blazing Trail - очередная маленькая игрушка от "Gamenergy studio" в стиле боевых гоночек. Раз уж небольшая игра, то и пробежимся по её плюсам и минусам быстро. ✔️Плюсы: ➕️Игра довольно проста в освоении и динамична в исполнении, имеются несколько локаций, разной аммуниции - геймплей имеется; ➕️Олдскульный характер, нотки Денди дают о себе знать - пискельная графика не режет глаз; ➕️Имеется поддержка контроллеров и русского языка; ➕️Есть кооп (сплитскрин) - можно также весело поиграть с другом. ❌Минусы: ➖️Довольно странно делать олдскул игру в таком же виде, как и 30 лет назад (без переосмысления), и продавать её почти за 500 деревянных...; ➖️В игре не очень удобное управление с конроллера, как оказалось (+ физика с инерцией странная). 💯Итог: 6️⃣/🔟. В целом пойдёт). Имеется демка игры, так что можно сначала бесплатно оценить игру, а потом решать, нужна она или нет. Советую брать на распродаже.

хорошечно, но опять же, преимущественно для мобилок. или нет? графоний, смысловая нагрузка, анимации, ламповость - всё есть, всё присутствует. но вот буд-то бы нет изюминки, которая позволила бы заходить вновь и вновь. хотелось чего-то нового, свежего, с новыми механиками. а тут быстро надоедает, как бы я прошел две карты и уже захотелось сделать паузу в сражениях. иногда динамики не хватает, а иногда и сильно много. игра, которая дарит эмоции, но смешанные стим не позволяет ставить нейтральных оценок, но негативный ставить не могу, не вижу фундаментальных причин. но это около 6\10

Mojon de perro mas grande en mi santa vida vi. Los que han recomendado esto en su reseña no se que se han fumado. Supongo que seran sus amiguitos o se lo han regalado. compre esta chatarra en un bundle de estos roñeras del fanatical porque tenia que elegir otro juego mas, y no vale ni medio centimo. Basurote tremendisimo.

Destroy, collect lasers, destroy enemies and their structures. P.S I like the “confrontation” mode the most. Only HARDCORE!

очередная индюшатина, способная погрузить моё внимание на выполнение *очередной* важной миссии где-то там, хотя обычно это вымышленное место))) но не тут то было. тут тебе и экшОН и мелодрамма короче. выглядит свежо, ярко и поддержка языка, за что респект! без каких-либо эффекта АХ, но как небольшой тайм-киллер - самое оно.

Playing this game feels like returning to my childhood. Thank you to those who were inspired by the 2010s :)

The pixel graphics are nice, and that's all the pro. The weapons are unsatisfactory. The auto cannon can only shoot upwards, the missiles have low reach, and the laser has a cooldown time. On a keyboard, you can't really shoot diagonally, so you need to use a gamepad. And because the guns can only shoot where you point with the car, you can't even run and gun. So you will die a lot. It is not a very accessible game.
