Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
There's a secret base in the Brazilian mountains. Kidnapped scientists are kept here, developing a tactical combat vehicle for terrorists. The vehicle is powered by a nuclear power cell, and is equipped with missiles, a machine gun and the latest powerful laser gun.
The scientists cannot allow their invention to be used by terrorists, so they stole the key to the hangar to escape during the night. The scientists broke into the hangar to hijack the vehicles and freed the other hostages. After the hijacking, they leave the holding area and take a cargo ship to cross the border of the protected area. But on the way, the river is blocked with rocks....

Yes!
Blazing Trail is one of those games that throws you right into the chaos- no time for questions, just bullets, explosions, and a desperate fight for survival. It’s a vertical co-op shooter with classic arcade vibes, pixel-art graphics, and enough firepower to make Michael Bay proud. You take control of a stolen combat vehicle, trying to escape from a secret terrorist base in the Brazilian mountains, all while blasting through hordes of enemies. Sounds simple enough, right? Well… let's talk about it.
About This Game

Storyline
The story is actually more fleshed out than I expected for a game like this. It’s not just "shoot everything that moves"; there’s a mission behind all the chaos. You play as a group of kidnapped scientists who’ve stolen a high-tech combat vehicle (equipped with a nuclear power cell, missiles, a machine gun, and even a laser gun) to escape the bad guys.
Gameplay Mechanics
Here’s where things got a little tricky for me. I started playing with keyboard and mouse, and it was rough. Aiming and shooting felt unintuitive, and I kept dying way too fast. It might be a skill issue, but it just wasn’t clicking. The moment I switched to a gamepad, though? Instant improvement.
Pros and Cons
Pros

Co-op gameplay: Everything is more fun when you can drag a friend into the chaos.
Satisfying combat: The mix of weapons and vehicle controls makes for some fun, explosive action.
Pixel-art visuals: If you’re into retro aesthetics, this game delivers.
Controller support: Seriously, if you play this, use a gamepad. It just feels better.
Boss fights: Big enemies, big explosions—what’s not to like?
Cons

Keyboard + mouse controls feel awkward: At least for me. Maybe it's just me, but I struggled.
Difficulty might be too easy for some: While the game is fun, it’s not the toughest challenge out there.
Lack of long-term content: It’s fun, but once you’re done, there’s not much reason to replay unless you just really love the gameplay. A survival mode with waves of enemies would have been a great addition.
Price is a bit high: I feel it’s a little overpriced, but it does go on discount often, the lowest being at 30% off.

Conclusion
So, is Blazing Trail worth playing? If you’re into arcade shooters, enjoy couch co-op, or just want to relive some retro-style action, then yeah, you’ll probably have a good time with it. The combat is fun, the visuals are charming, and it’s a solid way to kill a few hours. That said, if you’re looking for something with deep mechanics or long-term replayability, you might find it a bit lacking. Rating: 9/10 I wish I could play Retro Games but the graphics of modern games have spoiled me… For full review head over to our website

Totally unplayable on Steam Deck. Cannot control where you fire your machine gun (maybe that's as per design), laser is running out very fast, rockets are flying everywhere but in the correct direction, and 3-4 hits from anyone and you're dead. No way of just continue where you died, just start over. What? Refund. Thank you for the weird experience.
Over the years, numerous top-down war games have emerged, but few (if any) in this genre feature a dedicated war jeep as the protagonist, and this, in my opinion, makes the game quite unique. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGOZKNfuYz8 Blazing Trail is a straightforward vertical co-op shooter that delivers solid, no-frills action. You and a partner control a heavily armed vehicle, navigating through seven levels filled with enemies and bosses. The pixel-art graphics are charming, and the gameplay is accessible, making it ideal for casual sessions. While not groundbreaking, it offers plenty of enjoyable, uncomplicated fun.
I thought it would feel like playing Jackal on NES but it's more akin to an arcade game that takes your quarters. > You get a health bar because the enemy shots move faster than you can dodge. > The screen is more zoomed in than the screenshots, which means you'll be shot at before you can register that there is an enemy there. > The level begins with a long unskippable animation of the boat dropping you off; not even ESC works. In Jackal, the action started within 5 seconds and a respawn after death was instant. > There are an unnecessary amount of bullets on screen for what is shooting them. Blazing Trail is trying too hard to be a bullet-hell.
Love this game so far. reminds me of an old school game in the 90's I use to play on nintendo. controller is fully supported. recommended
It's like Jackal, but terrible in every way. Just go play Jackal on the NES.
Played until the first boss. Then it became a bullet hell game instead of a shoot 'em up. Controls with keyboard and mouse is abysmal. You can't aim with you mouse. Machine gun always shoots up, Rockets always shoot from your front and has low reach, while the laser is a long range one and you can't spam it (but it's not needed since every enemy usually dies in 1-2 shots from it). Why release the game on PC and not make it so that you could aim with the mouse? it's beyond my understanding. The vehicle controls are strange. The way it turns around makes you involuntarily kiss most of the mines on the ground, which eats your precious hp and then you usually die before reaching the checkpoint. I didn't like the gameplay overall. It's a copy-paste of Jackal formula from NES, but everything was made worse. Could have been a cool little game, but this is not it.
Игра так себе, но есть и плюс - после неё захотелось поиграть в оригинальный Джакал.
At first I thought the game will be like Rock&Roll Racing, on Sega, but the game is actually a throwback action game. The cost is extremely nice, there is a good story and scenes. The game is moderately difficult, beginners will do. There are gradual improvements, quests. I recommend the game to pass!
