We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

good
What made me spark interest in this game at first was the visuals. Not only was I blown away by how grand and beautiful the visuals, where pretty much anything being presented could be framed and appreciated as a piece of art alone, Blasphemous also delivers with amazing world building and satisfying gameplay. The visuals being presented through out are simply amazing and is easily my favorite part of the game. The pixelart might be the best I've ever seen with its rich details and fluid animations. It compliments the art direction beautifully where it blends gothic Catholicism and medieval imagery. I just wish I knew more about Christianity before going in to the game so I could better understand what the devs wanted to convey with the games imagery. Same also goes for the story since it too draws a lot from Catholicism. The story is being told very much like in Dark Souls, where there are a few NPCs that will give you some leads for the plot but the overarching story and lore is inside item descriptions. The story is good, very much so. I won't get more into it than that for the sake of spoilers. Gameplay consists of exploration and combat. Exploration is often rewarding and fun to do. You'll find different types of items and power ups as you discovery more of the world. The world is not linear at all and gives a lot of freedom as in where you choose to go. As with the case of metroidvanias you sometimes stumble upon something you can't interact with yet because you didn't find that one power up needed yet. I didn't have a major issue with this but I can see how someone else playing would find this frustrating, especially since some powerups are hard to find. Perhaps my biggest gripe with the game is that you only have 3 "power up" slots that are used for exploration only, but you can change them out whenever you want. So the 3 slots doesn't really serve any other reason than to being annoying when exploring. Combat is interesting and gives you a lot of options. You mainly have your default sword attack, different prayer abilities, a parry and a dash. All of these can be upgraded and enhanced in different ways the be better suited for your playstyle. Some inputs however can be a bit awkward at first but is easy to get used to. This also goes for both combat and exploration.
Overall, Blasphemous is an amazing game and an easy recommend for me solely for the atmosphere and lore.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is obviously well made, and it is certainly fair when it comes to fighting individual enemies and bosses, in that you can learn the attack patterns and how to deal with them all on your own. Parrying attacks is fun enough and the parry window isn't too punishing, either. Graphics are very nice, too - I can certainly see why it has such a positive rating. On the other hand, I agree with the others who found the backtracking unnecessarily frustrating. That, and savepoints being too few and far and between made it too much for me. Dying and trying again is part of the fun, yes - but dying and having to slog through many, many areas (some of them without any challenge or enemies, but still always taking noticeable time just to go through) to try again? At some point, enough was enough.

pesaroso corazon sea, penitente
i got this on sale for 2.50 and it couldnt have been more worth it
