About
The second scripture in the Blasphemous series portends the return of The Penitent One, with a story that continues from the free Wounds of Eventide DLC for the original game, where The Heart in the sky heralded the return of The Miracle and foretold the birth of a new miracle child.
Awakened in a strange new land, and displaced from his final resting place, The Penitent One is thrust back into the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection, with no other option than to explore this perilous new world and uncover its long-forgotten secrets.
Hordes of grotesque enemies stand in your way, awaiting final judgement by the brutal hand of the Penitent One, with titanic twisted bosses also lurking in the darkness, waiting for their chance to return you to the grave from whence you came.
Taking them down won’t be easy, but with Blasphemous 2 offering more chances to customise and improve your skill set, along with several new unique weapons to wield with righteous zeal and unending fury, victory might just be within grasp.
Ultimately, only one thing is certain… Penance Never Ends
Having awoken in a strange new land, your journey starts anew in a series of enchantingly grotesque landscapes, oozing Gothic charm and littered with unforgiving traps. How you tackle the labyrinthian world remains at your discretion, there is no wrong turn to be made, only scores to settle
The Penitent One shows no mercy, and with a series of new weapons offering new moves, brutal executions, and expanded combos, destruction will rain on any that stand in his way

Blasphemous 2 offers up new ways to play, with the ability to customise and improve your base skillset, alongside several new unique weapons to unleash devastating attacks on enemies

Hordes of monstrous foes stand between you and your goal; twisted bosses with unique attack patters and sundering abilities will put your skills to the test as you fight to stand triumphant when the dust settles

A whole new world awaits, bustling with mysterious new NPCs to interact with, some will offer aid, some will ask for it, and others will send you on death defying missions to obtain long forgotten items. With so much to see and do, the stories and myths you encounter will help you unpick the games myriad of secrets, granting you a deeper understanding of this strange new world

Excelente metroidvania. 9/10
They improved everything from the first game. I genuinely loved this experience and in my eyes it is a masterpiece. 10/10 game, highly recommend.
This game is very beautiful. The action was great, some puzzles were a little frustrating, but manageable once you get used to the mechanics. Would recommend.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game is amazing. it felt really slow for me at the beginning and i was confused as to where i needed to go a couple of times, but im sure thats on me and thats nothing a few google searches cant solve. the areas look good, the enemy design is great in the sense that it will teach you how to play the game via process of natural selection and the soundtrack is generally solid. i do feel like the game tempts you with places you cant reach too much and it feels quite daunting and bothersome to go back once youve gotten new traversal abilities. last but not least, the bosses are all phenomenal with the penultimate boss being in my opinion by far the best. however i cant say the same for odon of the confraternity of salt that bastard is just dull, boring, crude, needlessly tanky, cruel and insufferable i wish they had never added that horrible piece of ♥♥♥♥
The game has a very good direction set of storyline and world design and character design, the game main storyline, is about resisting a corrupt system who tricks the people into following a false deity that causes their suffering I like these story ideas and overall story elements, the characters villain and the overall world of Blasphemous is very well designed, it's what attracted me to the game in first place. As for gameplay, well there are some broken bosses, after fully upgrading the penitent one, I was able to clear 9 bosses but there are other 5 broken bosses that I can't defeat without cheats???, am I noobie ??? I've played a lot of side scroller on hardest difficulty and I can tell you this game has some serious broken bosses, however there are many good bosses fights. The game has a lot of consistent travel system, that's unlocked early in the game and can be enhanced with more travel points before mid game if you collect all the necessary items, so the discovery system and back tracing in this game isn't going to be frustrating. There's an online save analyzer that's integrated with other interactive map that'll save you a lot of troubles when it comes to looking for hidden items. the game doesn't have several difficulties like Prince of Persia the lost crown, which doesn't help with its broken bosses. The game is pixel art which is good and bad thing at the same time, the pixel graphics don't demand high hardware specs to run @60 FPS rull resolution, however these pixel graphics are less visually appealing to the eye compared to modern 2.5D graphics. Make sure to buy Mea Culpa DLC or you'll get kicked in the 🍑, this DLC offers the BEST weapon in the game, Mea Culpa the original weapon of the penitent one, it's capable of shooting remote projectiles that balances the game difficulties, and enables you to defeat a lot of impossible bosses, also this DLC is crucial to unlock the true ending of the game ending C. coming down to the last question, is the game woth it, of course it's worth your time and money and most importantly it will run at 60FPS. what about the combat system, the game combat system consists of accurate parrying timing, dodging and attacking it's good overall. The game has a shop system, grinding system, and your characters abilities can be customized through vaires ways to fit your preferred playing style. The game has also boss rush mode to challenge and fight previous bosses through something called boss gallery. I rate the game 8/10, only with 2.5D graphics I would give a rating of 9 or 10 /10. The game is good but it isn't the best if you want to see what Metroidvania genre has to offer I recommend playing Prince of Persia the lost crown that introduces cinematic 2.5D graphics and gameplay.
Me gusta todo
