Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Overall Game Rating: 3/10 I wanna start off by saying that I really, really wanted to like this game. I opened and closed the review window like 3 times from "just give it a lil more of a chance". The art is super cool and the gameplay loop of semi-tactical isometric with cool combos and unique builds is a niche I'm so fond of but see so little. But I was running into bugs...pretty much out the gate. And I kept trying, and a few hours in I just realized that screenlock bugs or characters getting randomly stuck was just gonna be a staple of the experience that would require me to reset the game. Unfortunately, this game was clearly never finished.

Gameplay: 3/10 As said above, love the semi-tactical combo based isometric. The actual gameplay itself is fun...when it works. But there's quite a few bugs that will be regularly interrupting your play experience. The game is also pretty grossly lacking in explanations. It gives some in-combat tutorials, but doesn't do things like...explain what each of the status effects do or what each of the characters stats does. A lot of symbols to represent things with varying levels of clarity. Like I get the sword is attack and the shield is defense, but what is the swirly? What is the sparkle shield? You can sometimes catch a glimpse if you happen to have an upgrade with that stat, but it's not something you can see on your character sheet or...when you're picking your stat upgrades.

Art Direction: 7/10 The game's strongest point, and what initially drew me to it. The character design is super strong, but the environments felt...lacking. Felt like a lot of copy-pasted assets and not in an elegantly done way. Music was okay. Didn't stand out much.

Story: 5/10 Didn't make it far enough to give a full read on this, but it was giving Soul Eater vibes as it's premise. The writing wasn't particularly noteworthy.

Bonus Notes: Honestly, I just really wish the dev would revisit this. I think with a few quality of life improvements and a focus on bug-fixing, this game could truly be a hidden gem.

A good game.
I bought the game at a discount. Overall I’m happy with everything, I’ll continue playing.
It hurts to not recommend this as there is a very solid game here. It needs a couple bug fixes, and like one decent of quality of life update and it would be an indie sleeper hit. The combat lacks impact, some tooltips don't work at all, characters get stuck or fall through the map, some missions just get stuck in a loop and can't be completed and the achievements are broken making it to impossible to 100% for many people. The bugs and issues have been mentioned time and time again to the devs but have not been fixed. I don't think they ever will be since the game has had no updates since 2024, shame really.
blade prince academy has a very cool premise : RTS with customizable heroes and pause time to let you queue up actions. not unheard of in the strategy genre, but still cool when a game goes that way. the unfortunate issue is that the game isn't very fun to *handle*, and the UI really does not help that. there are stylish bits and the game is very colorful, but it is kind of a pain to play. UI is kinda here and there, it's not really great to navigate and a lot of things kind of go against other things. the upgrade system is a good example of this - picking a upgrade AND a hero. it's both a strength that everyone can be customized but also a pain because in a lot of instances it doubles actions you have to make and feels unwieldy. a lot of actions could easily be more streamlined. all of this doubly so on controller. my recommendation would be to try the demo, and if you like it then sure go for the game. i think that's the best way i can recommend anyone to approach this game.
Gameplay is fantastic. My only complaint is the stamina/rest system, as it's annoying and takes away agency from my squad choice.
https://youtu.be/NCKlqX9XLWc Built towards real time with pause is less effective that sticking with real time action as committing orders is overly complicated and less responsive than one would desire.

Nice game, for a small studio. Some good ideas, although some things seem unfinished. Graphics look really nice, for such a small studio. Story is a bit rushed, but then again, game gets a bit repetitive near the end...
