Jogabilidade horrível, bem pesado mesmo com gráficos fracos.

Blade & Bones is a third person consolesque brawler where you run around and fight a bunch of enemies. There's a needlessly convoluted series of "gestures" and other abilities that seem to be thrown in to try make the game more convoluted than it needs to be. The developers tag this as a "Metroidvania" but it's not even a 2D platformer so there's some confusion on their part, which probably explains the numerous issues here. Gameplay consists of annoying dodge based "Dark Souls" style fighting as you plod through an ill-explained esoteric story that's harder to get into than the game itself. There's reports of bugs and instablity and that's no surprised as this is an unpolished mess. While the graphics aren't completely awful, the controls are. And the controls are locked, you can't tweak them to fix some of the floaty/oversensitive reactions. Camera controls are bad too, which makes me think this was designed with console peasants in mind. While you do have the option to change the resolution, it doesn't seem to do much. In 4K mode it just looks like 1080p upscaled, and everything is blurry and a little unpleasant to look at. The $10 USD price tag is unrealistic here, I think developers probably need to finish the game properly first and make it polished and enjoyable before the can charge that kind of money. I can't recommend this. And don't take my word for it, there's an achievement for picking up the first stick in the tutorial and only 44% of the people who own the game bothered to go that far. Ouch.

I don't really know what I was expecting getting this game despite the reviews. It's not great. It's kinda sad though cause it has the potential to be a lot better. The Good: - Graphics are decent - The game is at least voiced - has a lot of potential - the different stances and styles are a cool idea The Bad: - starting out, the game gives you zero sense of direction, sure you have the "press Q" for the butterflies that show you where to go but there are zero paths or trails and you have no clue or indication as to a boss or location's difficulty until you're getting slaughtered and for a game with a perma-death mechanic, that's just really annoying. - All of the locations and bosses you have to kill are really far apart to where this game kind of turns into a walking simulator. - A lot of hits don't register and funny enough, it's only ever your hits, the AI almost never misses. On top of that, dodging side to side is completely useless because they still hit you, you can only effectively dodge backwards and only if you get enough distance. - there's a number of other smaller things that are annoying about playing this game but I'll sum it up in saying that It feels like they tried to make it hard for the sake of making it hard (not to mention tedious) without properly thinking it through and have it make sense or make it at least skill-based. I'm really bent on rating this though because you can tell the dev put effort in but I'm sorry, it's just not fun, I honestly gave up after a little over an hour of playing because it's just overall tedious to play and not all that rewarding. 5/10 my advice, rework the combat and change the map a bit (definitely make it smaller) so that players can get a better sense of direction that makes sense and the game feels like it progresses more naturally (that would also alleviate some of tedium caused by having to traverse half the map just to heal)

No. A game shouldn't require you to do THAT much work just to get in. A friend gifted me this game and I hadn't played it, so I opened it and it would just boot me out every frame or so, like, it wouldn't crash but it would kick me from the game. It took me three openings to realize I had to go to the Visual options menu, while it booted me out every second mind you, so it took me like two minutes to get to the Visual menu and i had to click Windowed, which it just set my game in fullscreen (which it was before btw). Surely the actual game had to be better, though, right? Nah. Mechanics turned out to be utter ♥♥♥♥ and learning controls was a nightmare.
