Very nice puzzle game with real-time elements and a little bit of exploration. Some patience is required as checkpoints are not always common (but you can buy extra save points and level skips to tide you past a few levels)

An excellent puzzle game that everyone should play

Sci fi chip's challenge but with more possibilities and 3D graphics.

어릴 때 윈도우 설치 버전으로 즐겼던 추억의 게임이 스팀에 나왔다길래 바로 주저없이 구매해서 지금까지 생각날 때마다 하고 있음. 그땐 진짜 별의 별 방법으로 맵 만들어서 했는데, 지금은 그 때 처럼 하기는 힘든 것 같다. 어릴 때의 난 뭔 생각으로 그런 기괴한 맵을 만들면서 놀았던 걸까... 아무튼 이 게임은 무려 100단계 까지 있다. 퍼즐 좋아하는 사람이라면 100단계 까지 도전해보길 바란다. 참고로 Level Pit 이거는 창작마당 비스무리한 거다. 다른 플레이어들이 만든 맵을 직접 해볼 수도 있고, 자기가 직접 맵 만들어서 올릴 수도 있다. 물론 슈퍼마리오 메이커처럼 자기가 그 맵을 깰 수 있어야 맵을 올릴 수 있다. 전작에는 BGM도 없고 치명적인 버그도 있었던 2D 퍼즐 게임인데, BGM 없으면 지루한 걸 개발자도 아는 듯, 이 스팀판에는 BGM이 있다. 그리고 이건 전작과는 다르게 3D라는 점이 매력적이다. 그리고 무엇보다 이 게임 사운드트랙이 듣기 좋은데, 특히 메인 메뉴의 곡이 제일 신나서 좋다! [spoiler]허허 이것 참 ㅎㅎ[/spoiler] 그리고 게임 시작할 때 나오는 BGM들은 어째서인지 집중하기 딱 좋은 곡처럼 느껴진다. 다른 사람들은 어떤지 모르겠는데 적어도 난 마음에 든다. OST 따로 DLC 안 주려나?

I played the original like 20 years ago and was totally addicted. I often thought about it over the years, having good nostalgic feelings. I am so happy to have found it here. I Solved the first stages and got used to the updated design. I could not think of a better puzzle game.

This game is cool! there are a lot of puzzles and other staff. Sometimes lagging a bit and crash the game, but the game itself is very good. The pits are barriers so you can't fall into it. Enemies are allowed to walk on it. The plasma balls are difficult to found and there are a lot of locked doors.

A great Chip's Challenge-like (but holds up). Kind of what you want a game like that (grid-based puzzle game with tools that you pick up) to actually to be (in terms of design/difficulty/etc) to a puzzle game liker. There are a decent amount of secrets, too, and there are QoL tools within the game that make finding them not a frustrating task.

I've played the original Blackshift in 2006, and this version is an enormous improvement! I love it. The puzzles are sometimes challenging, but overall quite nicely balanced. So far, I did not get stuck anywhere where a bit of thinking wouldn't have helped, and there are many rewarding aha moments. The graphics are also really good; for example, I love the special effect when going on a save point. The background music is also nice and encourages thought. Oh, and this game is still receiving updates four years after its release, which I find exemplary. One can clearly feel in this game the dedication of its author, Robin Allen. It is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot for this experience!
