Black The Fall

The game is just kind of boring, you don't move as fluidly as you want and the puzzles while not screwing you over entirely checkpoint wise (per room), can be a bit annoying cuz a lot of them just require you wait for an enemy to go through it's patterns. It wants to be Inside, but it's not even as good as Limbo by any stretch. Also it's got some weirdo extremist version of a totalitarian Communist society, like it's message is just "Communism bad". But yeah, I could have played through that cold war propaganda if the game here was any good, and it's not. It just plays stiff and slow, and there isn't anything really interesting with the story going on either.

Неплохая смесь Limbo и Inside. Очень понравилась механика в темноте со звуком. Прохождение займет каких-то 2 часика.

Black The Fall es una aventura plataformera 2D, dividida en varios capítulos, en el que deberemos usar nuestra inteligencia, para poder avanzar. La historia trata de un ciudadano bautizado con el nombre de Black, que vive en un mundo distopico comunista, en el que ejerce de maquinista. Cansado de vivir como esclavo, decide escapar de sus captores, y enfrentarse al sistema. Durante su travesía, conocerá un pequeño robot cuadrúpedo, que le ayudara. El tipo de jugabilidad que nos ofrecerá es solventar puzles, para deshacernos de los obstáculos que nos encontremos. Durante una parte del juego, utilizaremos un brazo con función de controlador, para dirigir a otras personas o nuestro robot de compañía a realizar determinadas acciones. Gráficamente está muy bien diseñado en 2D, mezclando de fondo el 3D. Pasaremos por varias escenografías de interiores como exteriores, que están influenciada bajo el yugo del peor aspecto comunista. Fabricas llena de esclavos explotados, paisajes naturales deteriorados por los conflictos civiles, ciudad invadida por la pobreza y la ausencia de la libertad, etc. Sobre nuestro protagonista tiene aspecto humanoide, pero parece más bien un androide. Banda sonora normalita. Muy bien ofrecido los efectos de sonido proveniente de distintas fuentes. El juego ofrece compatibilidad con mando, guardado en la nube, traducción al castellano, logros y cromos Steam. Sobre los logros, hay que mencionar, que una parte de ellos, es encontrar zonas ocultas mayoritariamente. Debes entender, que algunos de estos desafíos, tarda su tiempo en sacarlos adelante, por ejemplo, la caja que te aporta el gorrito como skin al personaje, en el cual debes esperar a que haga acto de presencia, y pedirle a tu mascota robot alcanzarla. También el juego en su menú principal, aporta una misión desafío, de disparar calabazas de Halloween (No te preocupes, que el no jugarlo, no influye en la trama, y tampoco conseguir un logro). Personalmente, me ha parecido entretenido, y te ayudara distraerte como unas 4 horas. Lo que me gusto mucho, es el mensaje alto y claro, sobre las consecuencias negativas del fascismo. Black The Fall te recordará a títulos como “Inside”, “Limbo”, o “Deadlight: Director's Cut”, así que, si es tu estilo de juego, puedes llegar a encontrarlo en tiendas de keys Steam por 1€.

Currently I enjoy playing 2.5 D puzzle platformers a lot and this is another one. Though I can recommend Black The Fall in general, there are some quite frustrating parts. I don't know through how many deaths my character had to go until I finally figured out how to solve some of the puzzles. Yet eventually it's possible (with trial and error) to find the solution. The atmosphere and graphics hit a certain tone which I enjoyed experiencing and the cute little robot dog became a nice company. I enjoyed Black The Fall over several sessions (had to pause after being a bit too frustrated sometimes) and finished the game in about 5h. After completing I reloaded some chapters to get all achievements. Played on a Lenovo Legion Go running bazzite with TPD mode set to performance (20W).

The game is relatively simple. A simple formula where you walk to the right most of the time. There are some puzzles on the way. Most of them are quite simple, but there are some that can actually make you scratch your head for a while. The game is very simple yet entertaining. As other games I have seen in the past, this game is a clear critique on a "bad goverment", which can clearly be identified by its color and logo. The story it presents is simple, not so deep, yet interesting. I would recommend taking your time walking to see the background, which is the actual part of the game that is telling the story, more than your character. 100% recommended for a quick play.

I liked what I could play of the game, BUT don't buy this if you have an X Box S series, it crashes about half way through and you cant get past it

Seems to be a rather serious bug which deletes the save file after the first cutscene? Game is jank but okay, just leaving this so people can be aware. Possibly related to Linux?

1.全篇的场景引导都不是很够，有些地方会有轻度的卡关可能，尤其是每次引入新的游戏机制或者关卡前期。 2.存档点都比较靠前，让玩家每次死亡都会有少量的重新跑图。 3.默认的亮度太低 ，导致有的地方看不见，最好打开游戏就拉倒最亮。 4.中途提示使用耳机，全黑屏靠听力的关卡，可能会有人因为硬件问题导致无法过关或者闪退。 5.机械小狗成为伙伴之后拥有什么功能和能力根本没有事先进行展示，也没有足够的提示，很容易卡关。 到了关底，我估计都会有很多人 不知道要上机甲，走到墙边又倒回来找互动点，十分的出戏。 剩下整体音效还不错，画风是在模仿inside与limbo，确实还行。原价48人民币就是狗屎💩，打折12人民币就是良👍！ 整体来说是为了反共的意识形态这一碟醋，硬包的饺子。

Rather Simple mechanically, which I'd actually prefer in a game that's atmosphere and art based. Minimal at times to the point gimmick-territory, but honest about it's strenghts and leans into them. I'm not Romian personally, however, I could follow along and parse the story nonetheless. Good play and a banger soundtrack.

类inside游戏，迷题不难，氛围尚可，政治隐喻比较浓厚，部分场景过黑，打折的话可以体验一下，原价不值得，总体流程比较短，几个小时即可通关。
