In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This feels more like a demaster. I started playing this with the objective to get 100% achievements. Huge regret but saw it through to the end because the issues only started quarter through the game so I just put up with the problems. It didn't have a huge amount of problems but the ones that are there and extremely bad. This game crashes constantly and nothing I tried seemed to fix it. It needs more memory or something but the engine doesn't allow for enough. There's also a poor quality of audio and sometimes it would just break and sound choppy. If it had more autosaves the crashing would be slightly less annoying but having to save constanlty really removes so much enjoyement from the game. Not sure why they released this and dipped immidiately offering no bug fixes. That's 2k games for ya.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Right when it starts getting boring, you get a mission to collect quite a few ADAM/Upgrade points, and it allows you to buy quite a lot of upgrades that make gameplay fun again, until the very end. Drill Specialist "Gene Tonic"/Perk is one of the best things in this game (blocks all weapons except badass drill) The game crashed 3 times, at least one of crashes was caused by alt-tabbing in fullscreen mode. At the end, having
Big Sister companion
was a fun gimmick. I wish they made a whole game like that! Oh wait... Drill+Electricity 3 ftw VROOM VROOM
DO NOT PLAY THIS! Bioshock 2 is a amazing game, but this "remaster" is unplayable. I cannot play the game due to constant crashing and no fixes I've tried at this time work. I cannot stress enough how much this has been an issue since launch, and with there still being no consistent fix for this. Some mods/methods work for some people, but other times nothing works and the game is unplayable. Please do not buy this, you will waste your money! Play the original.
This game is a really good sequel to it's predecessor~! :D I heavily enjoy the new melee weapon and it's dash mechanic~ I adore all the depth they added to the little sister mechanic, with the addition of gathering ADAM~ But whilst I do love this game, and really love the gameplay and additions they made~ I *do* think this has a weaker story than Bioshock 1, though it's really only marginally weaker~ I think they did a great job with the audio-diaries and giving us more lore to work with, and I still very much enjoyed playing as Delta, and interacting with the Cast of Characters~ :3c I also really liked the Big Sisters, I thought they were not only fun to fight, but had cool designs!!!!~ I'd recommend heavily!~ :D
