Indebted to the wrong people, with his life on the line, veteran of the U.S. Cavalry and now hired gun, Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 21 → 12/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the best plot twist and story writing/character writing ive ever seen in a video game
I personally don't really like this game.. even for Bioshock this felt TOO fetch quest-y Objective: Find thing while finding thing, enemies show up you kill enemies, you find thing, loop.. the story is interesting enough but the combat feels too same-y and a lot of the vigors kind of just feel like the same thing with a lot of them being stuns which really limits WHAT you can do in combat. They do this thing where you're like "okay I should be at the end in about an hour!" and then something happens that sends you on another 40 minute fetch quest to feed you like one piece of information. I like the other 2 bioshock games more. Booker also just feels like he randomly switches from not caring about Elizabeth to suddenly caring a lot about her? It feels really weird.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Unforgettable Narrative: The dynamic between Booker and Elizabeth is the emotional heartbeat of the game. Elizabeth is one of the best-written companions in gaming history, feeling alive and integral to both gameplay and story. Stunning World Design: Columbia is a visual marvel. The sun-drenched, neoclassical architecture beautifully masks the dark underbelly of religious extremism and racial segregation. Dynamic Combat: Rushing along the Sky-Lines while combining traditional firearms with supernatural Vigors creates an exhilarating, fast-paced vertical playground.
The third instalment in the series doesn’t send us down into the depths, but upwards – high into the floating city of Columbia in the early 19th century. Instead of a seedy underworld of drug-addicted hustlers and dim lighting, we – as private detective Booker deWitt – take a trip to a deceptive Belle Époque paradise. Why we embark on this journey and why we set off at all remains a mystery for a long time. However, the adventure, which starts off with a dense atmosphere, quickly becomes unnecessarily confusing. The game hints at freedom of choice here and there, but this isn’t actually intended. The gameplay is comparatively quite simple, even on the highest difficulty setting, and also way more action-oriented than it´s predecessors. The game aims to be profoundly deep and philosophical, yet increasingly gets tangled up in contradictions and logical inconsistencies. The ending, in particular, is disappointing and leaves you with a flat feeling. The setting and premise simply don’t fit into the world of the previous two BioShock instalments. That said, it’s probably quite unique in terms of design and theme. The controls and gunplay are also significantly better executed. So: is it a bad or a good game? It’s really hard to say. Somewhere in between. Rapture and Columbia actually work brilliantly as completely different dystopian worlds. But when you start linking them together using multiverse logic, it dilutes Rapture’s original uniqueness. Perhaps the developers also realised they’d made a misstep. The two DLCs therefore send Booker and Elizabeth to Rapture shortly before its downfall in 1958. 2K deliberately chose not to continue the main storyline, preferring instead to return to familiar territory. In my view, this decision paid off. The DLCs focus much more on atmosphere and stealth, and they pull this off very well. Episode 2 took a much bigger risk: this time, we play from Elizabeth’s perspective. The attention to detail was taken up a notch here. Here, too, the link to Infinite is drawn, but with a distinct noir flavour. Personally, I therefore enjoyed the DLCs far more than the main game.
Vale MUITO a pena.
Great game. I always come back to it at least 3 times a year. it may be a short game but it is so fun and has such a great story to it.
