Biomech Hell

A little run'n'gun remembering good old Contra! As always a very cool game with an affordable difficulty. You can see the progress made since the first games of SEEP franchise and notice some reference.

I Seep ora ci portano un gioco in stile Contra, Hard Corps per essere corretti, con varie "strade" da scegliere e diversi finali. Un altro gioiellino? Non proprio questa volta, è davvero un buon gioco ma ha alcuni singhiozzi. 3 per l'esattezza che minano l'esperienza(imo). 1-Accucciarsi non serve a molto(in quanto i nemici vi beccano comunque),sarebbe meglio essere proni come in Contra. 2-Alcuni mini-boss sparano un po' a caso senza patterns. 3-Manca il tasto per lockare il personaggio senza che continui a camminare mentre spara. Per il resto è veramente un buon lavoro, consigliato soprattutto per la rigiocabilità e per il prezzo.

Very good take on Contra-like genre. This one has its set of remarcable features such as gore and a very limited amount of ammos to the secondary weapons, adding some strategy to the gameplay.

Como siempre, un grandísimo juego con ciertas influencias de la saga Contra. Sé que tarde o temprano sacarán un cartucho recopilatorio para Nintendo Switch que incluya varios juegos. Y por derecho propio tanto este como el ROAR OF REVENGE estarán incluidos.

Good Contra clone with some replayability.

Инди ран-эн-ган вдохновлённый Contra: Hard Corps, только хуже. Но не поймите не правильно - игра не ужасна. Напротив, она хорошая, однако во всех аспектах немного недожатая. Персонажи отзывчивы, однако на некоторых уровнях очень странные хитбоксы. Боссы есть как откровенно простые (в том числе на финальных уровнях), так и те что вызывают реакцию в духе "ЧТО ЗА УЖАС ЗДЕСЬ ТВОРИТСЯ?!" (босс на Фабрике). Весь арсенал оружия у обоих играбельных персонажей доступен сразу с начала игры, однако у всего, кроме базового автомата, боезапас ограничен. Сама же игра имеет частичную нелинейность: всего в игре 11 уровней, однако при одном прохождении можно побывать на 5 из них. Графика симпатичная, но не более. Дизайн врагов-мутантов не понравился.

Кто-нибудь, подарите разработчикам циркуль и транспортир? Стрельба по диагонали под выдуманными ими углами это кошмар. А так было весело, хоть игра и кривая до невозможности. Но что-то в ней есть. По итогу больше доволен чем нет

Another faux retro game, this time of Contra, thankfully with the insane difficulty toned down. Good at what it does. Huntdown is a superior game and you should buy it over this but you will get your money's worth even if you dont buy it on sale. Fun like other SEEP games but with more content than most of them (frankly I think the hours I racked up in Roar of Revenge are mostly because I sucked at that game despite digging it, though it also included my attempt at a better 2nd playthrough. A playthrough of this game thorough the easiest route (pick the nuclear plant the factory is bizarrely hard for a stage 2, possibly the hardest level in the game) took me a bit over an hour, however as the game informed me i hadn't actually stopped the doctor and would need to get the other 2 endings then playthrough the game again. Normally I hate this thing, but going through the factory lead to a siginficnalty different playthrough, with only the first stage being the same. Though the 3rd and 4th playthroughs were just replaying old content with a new stage at the end. Beating all this then unlocks Super Arcade and Boss Rush, which at the time of this review I have tried but not beaten. Boss rush makes you fight all 11 bosses with 3-9 lives (depending on what you pick), intermetiant power up crate and no continues or recovery of ammo or health. Super Arcade Mode puts you in 5 random stages remixed to be harder (which seems to just mean more enemies and more advance enemies showing up early) and like wise no continues. Not a masterpiece but more content than you'd pay for and a competent, less punishing contra knockoff Edit: sorry said 4 where I should have said 3. You need to beat the game with 3 endings (but two of them have completely different stages) then one more team. Edit 2: Tried super arcade a few times, failed. Got through the boss rush after about an hour though played on 9 lives. Had to actually the bosses the pattern. Im awful at Contra or even that fun indie knockoff with the Probector robots, so if your good at contra your hours maybe lower than mine but you'll still likely get your money's worth Edit 3: 8.2 hours done everything. Good game. A contra pro will have less hours than me but will enjoy themselves
