Fight and drink for the glory of Odin in Bierzerkers, a multiplayer melee arena combat game. While quick to pick up and get in some killing, the game has a great deal of depth, both individually and as a team.

> Jogo bixado, já no começo aparece uma mensagem de erro dizendo que nao dá pra jogar online, o que nao faz diferença já que o jogo já está morto, ninguem mais joga isso (é só ver as discuçoes sobre ele). > Jogar solo tambem nao da! toda hora o jogo "crasha", e olha que minhas configuraçoes nao sao ruims! > Uma completa perda de tempo.

Bierzerkers, developed and published by Shield Break Studios, is a multiplayer melee brawler that leans into a playful reinterpretation of Viking mythology, trading historical grit for a more colorful and chaotic vision of the afterlife. Set in the fantastical realm of Brewhalla, the game imagines fallen warriors continuing their battles in an endless cycle of drinking and combat, creating a tone that is equal parts humorous and competitive. It’s a premise that immediately distinguishes itself from more serious arena games, framing the experience as something meant to be enjoyed casually rather than approached with rigid intensity. The core of Bierzerkers revolves around team-based combat, typically structured around 5v5 matches where players select from a roster of Viking-inspired classes. Each class offers its own weapons, abilities, and combat style, encouraging players to experiment and find a role that suits their preferences. The combat system is centered on melee encounters, emphasizing timing, positioning, and the strategic use of abilities over precision aiming. There is a clear attempt to balance accessibility with depth—new players can jump in and understand the basics quickly, while more experienced players can explore nuances in timing and teamwork. When everything clicks, the game delivers a satisfying sense of chaos. Battles often devolve into energetic clashes where multiple players converge in tight spaces, swinging weapons, triggering abilities, and trying to outmaneuver each other. There’s a certain charm in this unpredictability, especially when coordinated team play leads to a decisive push or a well-timed defensive stand. However, the combat doesn’t always feel as polished as it could be. Hit detection and animation feedback can occasionally feel inconsistent, which undermines the sense of control that a melee-focused game relies on. Over time, this can make encounters feel less skill-driven and more dependent on momentum. The pacing is intentionally fast and arcade-like, with matches designed to be completed in relatively short bursts. This makes Bierzerkers easy to pick up for quick sessions, and there’s an immediate appeal in jumping from one match to the next. At the same time, the structure doesn’t evolve much beyond its initial offering. Objectives and maps provide some variation, but the overall loop remains largely unchanged, which can lead to repetition during extended play sessions. Without a deeper progression system or a wider variety of modes, the game struggles to maintain long-term engagement. Visually, the game adopts a stylized approach that complements its lighthearted tone. Characters are exaggerated and expressive, and the environments draw inspiration from Norse mythology while embracing a more vibrant and whimsical aesthetic. This gives the game a distinct identity, setting it apart from more grounded or realistic titles. However, the presentation is not without its flaws. Environmental detail can feel uneven, and certain animations lack the smoothness needed to fully sell the action. While the art direction is appealing, the technical execution doesn’t always match its ambition. A significant factor in the overall experience is the game’s reliance on multiplayer activity. As a primarily online-focused title, Bierzerkers depends heavily on an active player base to keep matches engaging and varied. When servers are populated and teams are balanced, the game can be genuinely enjoyable, offering moments of chaotic fun and teamwork. However, when player numbers dip, the experience can feel limited, with matchmaking becoming less reliable. The inclusion of a solo or survival mode provides an alternative, but it lacks the energy and unpredictability that make multiplayer matches compelling. Ultimately, Bierzerkers feels like a game built on a strong and appealing concept that doesn’t quite reach its full potential. It captures the spirit of lighthearted, team-based combat and delivers moments of genuine fun, especially when played with others who embrace its chaotic nature. However, issues with polish, repetition, and reliance on an active community prevent it from standing out in a crowded multiplayer landscape. It’s best suited for players looking for a casual, short-session brawler rather than a deeply competitive or long-lasting experience. Rating: 6/10
Isn krasses game lul
Vikings, Death Matches, Sheep Races, Beer, and Huntress babes with nice asses. This is a fun multiplayer experience.
Overall very funny game, but here is just one server with 250+ ping and playerbase is 0-2 players :D
Recommending the game, but also don't buy it if you don't have 9 other friends to play with since the game is basically dead. A neat $5 diversion with some interesting ideas, but the game feels very early access. Studio is dead, game is dead, controls are a bit floaty and seem more like a mobile game. If this game came back as a FTP mobile game it would probably do ok. You can still play against bots but their AI isn't very good. Still, easy achievements.
