Stranger Things if it was actually good and a videogame. (i played the game in the Remixed/chronological order so that is how I'll be refrencing the timeline) I am torn between liking and disliking this game but i decided to recommend it because i respect the grind of this studio. I thought that the first half of the game was great, I enjoyed the laboratory segments and even the CIA plot (sorta) but the game just seems to go off the rails after that point and starts feeling more like a fanfiction rather then a well rounded script. also... WHY does Jodie have to suffer soooo much in every single chapter? it actually starts to get ridiculous how much she is going through. don't get me wrong i enjoy stories with depth and angst but after you see Jodie nearly die for the 1000 time you start to wonder if this is some sort of weird fetish the writer has. the gameplay isnt that interesting which is honestly expected due to it being a choice based game so I'm not gonna nitpick that but I will say that the combat sections are a nightmare to do, theyre unreasonably long and half of the qte's misread your input and you end up getting hit for no reason. I'm still not done with this game due to me getting bored of watching Jodie suffer so I hope the ending doesnt fall flat and I didnt just play Suffering; The Game to get an unsatisfying ending.
