Reviews
Between Time: Escape Room is a first-person puzzle adventure developed and published by mc2games that builds its entire experience around clever problem-solving and the fascinating possibilities of time travel. Rather than emphasizing action or survival mechanics, the game invites players to become explorers and investigators, using a stolen time machine to travel across different historical eras in search of legendary treasures. This premise gives the adventure an immediate sense of purpose while creating opportunities for a wide range of puzzle designs inspired by each unique destination. It is a game that values curiosity, patience, and logical thinking, making it an excellent choice for fans of escape room experiences. The adventure unfolds across five distinct time periods, each offering its own visual style, atmosphere, and set of environmental challenges. Every location feels noticeably different, preventing the experience from becoming repetitive as players move from one era to another. Historical settings are more than simple backdrops, as each environment incorporates thematic puzzles and interactive objects that encourage players to pay close attention to their surroundings. The gradual introduction of new locations keeps exploration rewarding while maintaining a strong sense of progression throughout the campaign. Puzzle design is easily the strongest aspect of Between Time. Players are tasked with uncovering hidden clues, deciphering codes, manipulating mechanisms, and connecting information scattered throughout each area. Success depends on observation and reasoning rather than quick reflexes, making every solved puzzle feel earned. The game avoids relying on repetitive tasks by presenting a healthy variety of logical challenges that require different ways of thinking. Most solutions are well integrated into the environment, rewarding players who carefully inspect every object instead of randomly experimenting with every possible interaction. Adding another layer to the adventure is A.I.T.M.A., the Artificial Intelligence Time Machine Assistant that accompanies players during their journey. While the story remains relatively simple, this companion helps provide context for the missions and links together the various historical locations. The narrative never overshadows the puzzle-solving, instead serving as a light but effective motivation for uncovering the mysteries hidden throughout time. This balance allows the gameplay to remain the primary focus while still giving players enough narrative incentive to continue exploring each new era. The presentation complements the gameplay well, with detailed environments that successfully establish the atmosphere of each destination. The first-person perspective enhances immersion by allowing players to examine objects naturally and feel as though they are physically navigating a real escape room. Lighting, environmental details, and subtle sound design all contribute to creating a believable sense of place without distracting from the puzzles themselves. The soundtrack remains understated, supporting the feeling of mystery while allowing players to concentrate on solving the challenges before them. Accessibility is another strength of the game. The controls are intuitive, interactions are straightforward, and the interface rarely gets in the way of exploration. Players unfamiliar with escape room games can quickly understand the mechanics, while experienced puzzle enthusiasts will appreciate the increasingly complex challenges presented later in the adventure. The pacing remains steady throughout, giving players enough time to observe, experiment, and think without feeling rushed by unnecessary pressure. Although Between Time is not designed to deliver an expansive cinematic story or high-octane gameplay, it excels at providing exactly what its target audience expects. Its creative time-travel concept, thoughtfully designed puzzles, immersive historical settings, and satisfying progression create an engaging experience that consistently rewards careful observation and logical reasoning. Players seeking deep storytelling or significant replay value may find its overall scope somewhat modest, but those who enjoy escape room adventures will discover a polished and enjoyable journey that remains entertaining from beginning to end. For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Respecto a juegos anteriores hay algunos acertijos que cuesta más entender dónde están las pistas, pero tampoco arruina la experiencia. Son cinco escapes muy diferentes, aunque ya veía venir el final de la historia.
Fun; very good value. I only had to cheat a few times.
This was a rough play through for me, especially the last level and the second level. I'm a pretty big escape room connoisseur and really enjoy the genre, but I really struggled here. The hint system needs a massive overhaul. It's far too vague and led to me overthinking some very basic puzzles.
Short, but enjoyable clue-based escape room game, so you will need to piece together logic rather than mechanically assemble items as in other escape room games. Around 5 hrs worth of content, maybe slightly more if you are a complete idiot like me.
Between Time: Escape Room hat mir insgesamt sehr gut gefallen.
Time parts like mist Each choice echoes through the years Moments find their way
Sadly, most of those riddles / solutions of this developer does not make any sense. Especially, compared to other riddle games like House of Da Vinci etc. there you have the "click / aha moment"-feeling if you got the solutions. Here I totally miss any logic or reason behind the puzzles, so that the fun aspect is fading away every minute to minute...
재밌긴한데 스토리가 좀 허무한거 같기도 하고 그냥저냥 즐길만 했습니다
Una garcha. Todo bugueado y sin sentido
