When I play games, I use the 1 hour per dollar spent rule. I spent $2.15 on this in 2021, and delayed playing this for a while. I put in a little over 3 hours just now and here's my take. -This game has some fun mechanics, like using the cameras to view a person's crimes being committed or the different types of currency this game has. -The dialogue is something I like to call Eurocringe. -Had to restart my playthrough about 3 times. -Each time I would find out that there were items I was supposed to collect or actions I should have taken, which would lead me to restart. Didn't want to bother restarting it a fourth time since I spent so little on it.
Играем за управляющего доходным домом в тоталитарном государстве, и наша задача — следить за жильцами, собирать на них компромат и сдавать властям тех, кто нарушает правила. Чувство дискомфорта, угнетенное состояние, тоска, хтонь и ответственность за каждое принятое решение - вот такой вайбик у игры. Веселиться, конечно, тоже можно, подкидываю запрещенку соседям или собственной дочери. Колоритнейшие персонажи, проработанный сюжет и лор игры делают игру лучшей в серии ДО СИХ ПОР. Отечественный разработчики сделали шедевр на года, следующие части не смогли, на мой взгляд, переплюнуть первую часть, она ближе всего к идеям тоталитаризма и к наследию Оруэлла. На высокой сложности Вам необходимо отыгрывать крайне плохого человека: шантаж всех и вся, подбрасывать улики, вымогательство, угрозы тюрьмой - все ради денег и ресурсов. Если Вы фанатеете от антиутопий, Оруэлла, Papers Please! и подобного - крайне рекомендую!

Beholder é um jogo sobre escolhas morais em um regime opressivo. Você não é um herói, apenas um zelador tentando sobreviver em um prédio onde tudo é observado. A narrativa é perturbadora, envolvente e permanece com você após terminar. Espere por uma história que desafia você a refletir sobre vigilância, sobrevivência e o que realmente importa. Personagens memoráveis, plot twists bem executados e finais que te deixam pensando. Suas ações importam, e é isso que deixa o jogo ainda mais rico. Absolutamente recomendado para fãs de narrativas distópicas, assim como euuu.
Прошел Beholder вместе с дополнением «Blissful Sleep». Что могу сказать: игра очень атмосферная. Чем-то напомнила старую игру Fallout Shelter. Механика подглядывания в замочные скважины и обыска квартир сделана круто: игра заставляет постоянно следить за тем, чтобы жилец не обнаружил тебя в квартире, пока ты в ней обыскиваешь тумбочки и кровати. Так же приятно реализуема механика различных решений задач, как в случае выселения Клаусов или поиска лекарств для Марты, из-за которой игру будет приятно перепроходить множество раз. DLC «Blissful Sleep» - отличное дополнение. Оно не просто копирует оригинал, а дает возможность взглянуть на жизнь дома с другой стороны, за другого персонажа. История получилась такой же мрачной и интересной, как и в основной игре, а самое главное - не противоречит ей В общем, если любите игры, где нужно много думать, планировать и постоянно крутиться как белка в колесе, чтобы выжить - берите обязательно
