good game but I just realized I need to get silksong sorrrry
I thought the setting was about how capitalism sucks and found community is all that matters, changing your priorities, etc. Then I realized you can change the rate you give money above 100% or below 0% in order to take out all the money you want as an interest free loan or buy the ticket to leave this hellhole immediately and I realized the morale instead was money isn't real, get paid, go to space.
I love this game, it feels like traveling back to the gamecube era of gaming. I would describe it as a mix of original Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon with some Pikmin esthethics sprinkled in. Before the Green Moon really shines with its atmosphere and passive story telling, that just wishes you away into this absolute gem of a truck stop town. Despite this, the game still has a lot of bugs and issues, like villagers popping up both on the street and in their homes, chickens not spawning and controller issues when interacting with the vending machines. If you can look past some of this hick-ups, Turnfollow created the ultimate anti-farming sim that is definitely worth checking out.
Day 1: Wish I'd known there were so many stairs here. My knees aren't what they used to be. Day 2: Maybe I should start a snail farm. Plenty of snails. Company seems to buy 'em for some reason. Day 3: Planted more rice. Guess people here eat mainly rice. And possibly snails. Day 4: Found a quiet spot by the river. Neighbours around, but seem harmless. Day 5: Bloody moon kids dumping trash all over the town. No respect! Moon seems less appealing now.
Had a farm, liked it. Made friends in a little community. Got into a relationship but she didn't seem willing to put in the effort. So I went to the moon.
+ Personnages attachant + World building discret + Juste assez de contenu + Plein de secrets à découvrir - Manque de QoL 7/10 Bien!
It is a cute game but i find the day to short.
good
Only an hour in and loving the cozy vibes with a peculiar story behind it. Scratches that Harvest Moon itch.
