Very neat game, better than the 1st version, which has more flaws. It has a lot more gameplay with various ships, better consistency with music, better QoL with song choice and a lot more content such as enemy variety without any DLCs. The only worse things are that achievements are more boring and the bosses are usually much easier in this game. I recommend it to all music game lovers. It's not really a rhytm game though, as the tags describe, just a game that plays with your music. It's also still a little bit lacking as a shooter type of game if you're going mainly for that, but it's good enough. Overall: 7.5/10
Ta fino, apenas entiendo lo que llega a ocurrir en mi pantalla y me duelen los ojos al acabar una partida, tremenda obra maestra 20/10 y god

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice game. It looks much like Beath Hazard 2.
A really neat idea for a twin stick rhythm shooter. It's like asteroids, but your weapons move and pulse to the beat. It can work with any song locally or online, making it have endless replay value. It has different difficulty settings and powerups to mess with too.

上头啊上头
Beat Hazard 2 is a music-powered twin-stick shooter developed and published by Cold Beam Games. Building upon the foundation established by the original title, this sequel expands nearly every aspect of the concept by turning songs into dynamic combat arenas where rhythm, intensity, and tempo directly influence gameplay. Rather than treating music as a simple soundtrack, the game uses it as the core mechanic, transforming personal playlists into endless sources of unique battles. The result is an arcade experience that feels fresh every time a new track is selected. The game's central feature revolves around its ability to generate levels based on audio. Every song creates a different combat scenario, with energetic tracks producing heavier enemy waves, larger explosions, and more chaotic encounters. Slower music results in a more measured pace, allowing players to focus on positioning and survival. This system ensures that no two sessions are exactly alike, giving the game an almost limitless amount of replayability. Whether players prefer electronic music, rock, orchestral compositions, or even podcasts, Beat Hazard 2 finds a way to transform audio into an interactive challenge. One of the sequel's most notable improvements is its expanded audio compatibility. Instead of restricting players to locally stored music files, the game supports a much wider range of audio sources. This modernized approach allows players to enjoy the game alongside streaming platforms, internet radio, and other forms of digital audio. It is a smart evolution of the original concept and significantly increases the convenience and flexibility of the experience. The game feels designed for contemporary listening habits, making it easier than ever to jump into action with favorite songs. Visually, Beat Hazard 2 embraces spectacle. The screen frequently erupts with colorful particle effects, glowing projectiles, and reactive visualizers that pulse in time with the music. Battles become dazzling displays of light and motion, creating an atmosphere that resembles a playable music visualizer. The improved graphics add excitement without abandoning the straightforward arcade roots of the series. While the abundance of effects can occasionally make the battlefield difficult to read, the overall presentation succeeds in making every encounter feel energetic and memorable. The progression systems add more depth than players might initially expect. As matches are completed, experience points, upgrades, and unlockable content provide a steady sense of advancement. Different ships offer varied playstyles, encouraging experimentation and strategic customization. An especially creative feature allows songs themselves to generate unique ships, rewarding players for exploring different music libraries. These progression mechanics help transform Beat Hazard 2 from a simple score-chasing arcade game into a longer-term experience with meaningful goals and rewards. Combat remains the heart of the game and is consistently satisfying. Controls are responsive, movement feels fluid, and weapon upgrades create a powerful sense of escalation as battles intensify. Enemies arrive in increasingly dangerous formations, while bosses emerge as large-scale threats influenced by the music being played. These encounters often become the highlights of a session, combining unpredictable attack patterns with the game's signature audiovisual spectacle. The blend of action and music-driven design keeps firefights engaging even after many hours of play. The variety of available modes further strengthens the package. Players can pursue high scores, tackle survival challenges, experiment with different ships, or simply relax while blasting through waves of enemies accompanied by their favorite songs. Local cooperative play adds another layer of enjoyment, allowing friends to share in the musical chaos. The game successfully accommodates both casual players seeking entertainment and dedicated arcade fans looking to master its mechanics and leaderboard systems. Despite its strengths, Beat Hazard 2 is not completely free of shortcomings. Because the game relies heavily on procedural generation, some encounters can eventually feel familiar. The core objective of shooting enemies remains largely unchanged throughout the experience, and the intense visual effects may overwhelm players who prefer cleaner, more readable action. However, these drawbacks are relatively minor compared to the creativity and replay value that define the game. What ultimately sets Beat Hazard 2 apart is its ability to personalize gameplay through music. Every player brings a unique soundtrack into the experience, resulting in battles that reflect individual tastes and listening habits. Few arcade shooters manage to blend player expression and gameplay so effectively. By combining addictive combat, extensive customization, impressive visuals, and innovative music integration, Beat Hazard 2 delivers a distinctive experience that stands out within the crowded twin-stick shooter genre.
