great time killing gameplay
Cant stop. Wonderfull. The gameplay is great. The story (or relations?) need some clearing. Sounds very amusing, but it would be much better if anyone could understand what, why, when. Talent tree must grow bigger. Finetune restarting (make it logical). More levels, polish graphics. But still, very playable. Nobrainer, if you into these games.
TLDR - Hold off on buying until 1.0 where I hope many of my criticisms or complaints are addressed. It's $10 for a necromancy-themed bullet heaven game with great style, but ultimately boring gameplay and frustrating mechanics. It didn't sit well with me, it might for you. But I cannot recommend it due to my frustrations. So I got this in a bundle during the steam summer sale which effectively put this game at around $3.50. If I had bought the game on it's own at $7 or $10, I'd have refund it because as it stands now in EA, it's not fun and too much needs to change for me to consider playing it again. That said, I'll ignore it until 1.0 comes out and try again. The devs seem very active and there seems to be a lot of positive reviews (which is surprising to me). +Battlefield becomes more grotesque from both your minion and enemy corpses +Necromancy +Cool art style +Music is good, could benefit from more songs -When you die, its so jarring because the game immediately cuts to a short death animation. It's very awkward -No healthbar to easily track your HP. Intsead its indicated by how 'degraded' the necromancer is from fully human, to a torn dress, to missing flesh, and ultimately to a bloody skeleton where its GG. -It's difficult to perceive your own hitbox; hit registration is frustrating -What's the point of having my own minions if enemy peasants just walk through them and hit me? -If I have to kite the enemy because they'll run straight through my minions and hit me, then why don't i have an innate ability to do some damage? At least for self defense? -What's the point of kiting if I'm shuffling my own hitbox, running from peasants that push through my minions, aggro range for my minions to 'intercept' or fight the peasants rushing me, follower range that'll force minions to disengage enemies and come to me, forcing minions to change priority in targets by resetting their aggro via running away from who they're fighting. Minions dont seem to have a target priority such as immediately coming to your defense if an enemy hits you. Your focus is going to be shuffling all the aforementioned behaviors until you hit a critical mass blob where you can get away with just standing still. -Once you have a large enough army you can just sit in one spot and hold space bar to summon minions from enemy corpses. It's incredibly boring. -No auto-cast ability for summoning minions -While holding space bar to summon minions your movement speed is halved -Starting list of abilities or upgrades from level ups is incredibly small and doesn't feel impactful -Meta upgrades are incredibly expensive -Meta upgrades are very few -You will need to repeat the first mission several times to afford even a couple meta upgrades -The King fight in the first level is unfair and tedious. It's as if you're expected to fight him multiple times to grind unlocks. Why am I able to amass such a massive army that fills up my entire screen and not able to run away to minimize or dodge his massive AOE? In a few goes my massive army is disintegrated and now I do not have enough minions or personal dmg to kill more enemy soldiers to recast minions. Mind you, this is also while you're too slow (from casting summon) to dodge the king, dodge enemy minions, and also keep your minions alive and out of the King's AOE. -Why after each mission failure I'm getting insulting dialogue from the necromancer? Cool flavor, sure. But it's a convo with dialogue options that is seemingly pointless and adds to the teenager edgy humor. -Based on the few missions I've played and the store page screenshots, it seems like there's a lot of active spells to unlock but I couldn't be bothered to do multiple 20 min rounds of boring gameplay to unlock more. -What's the point of summon circles on the map? Sure they'll summon a handful of the most powerful minion in your current army, but they not relevant when you have hundreds of minions. Could they provide other benefits as well? ------(thats 6 negatives, should be more; my biggest complaint) holy crap the bickering from the necromancer and the king is so annoying. I thought it was cool at first, but the dialogue becomes extremely annoying very quickly. It sounds like its written by a teenage girl who has revenge fetish against an ex. Please let me disable this garbage +/-The home base is alright. Feels a bit empty for whats there. It could be replaced with just a menu interface because it feels like there's not much going on. +/-20 minute rounds; with no custom options such as enemy density, health, xp boost, round timer, etc etc. +/-The active ability is nice, but way too short. It takes too long to charge up for it to only last a few seconds. It boosts dmg and hp of your minions and allows for very fast summoning. It's such a scarce resource that I am forced to choose between using it for DPS output of my minions when I'm outnumbered or to emergency respawn minions such as in a fight against the king.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The games has that 'mommy' energy, I can see it being cringe to some. Overall its fun and visually appealing.
It is good.
Pretty good game!
Wer Bock auf ein flüssiges, unkompliziertes Action-Roguelike hat, sollte sich Be My Horde definitiv anschauen.
