About
Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is a survival fleet-management roguelite with procedural narrative design and real-time space battles. Shoulder the heavy burden of leadership as you make critical decisions for your fleet’s survival under constant pressure.
You command a fleet of survivors relentlessly chased by the Cylon Fleet. Each new run represents another desperate attempt to rejoin Humanity’s last hope: the Battlestar Galactica.
Prepare, fight, and survive at all costs.
So say we all.

Fleet Management phases offer limited turns to prepare until the next inevitable Cylon assault. As the enemy draws closer, designate priorities to ensure your fleet’s survival:
Dispatch expeditions to nearby points of interest for resources
Allocate supplies and personnel to resolve urgent situations
Upgrade ships for survivability and firepower
Train crew to improve efficiency in and out of combat

Your decisions continuously affect the Fleet’s overall status: faction politics, healthcare, and maintenance levels. Each indicator dynamically triggers narrative events tailored to your fleet’s condition. Your fleet’s fate can evolve in drastic ways if you’re not careful: epidemics, critical system malfunctions, or even a full-blown civil war.
In times of crisis, the Fleet looks to you to make hard decisions. Given your limited resources and time, determine if your fleet can afford to solve a crisis immediately or suffer its negative effects over time.
Perhaps the most challenging crisis you’ll face will be discovering a Cylon has infiltrated your ranks: investigating suspects will cost resources, but taking too long will cost lives.

The Cylon Fleet overwhelmingly outnumbers you. Each encounter is about survival, not victory. Fight high-risk tactical battles while your fleet prepares an FTL jump to safety.
Coordinate frontline squadrons with powerful Gunstar strikes in real time
Use Tactical Pause at any time to preview your attacks and enemy movements
Create synergies to deploy enemy-specific strategies by leveraging your unit strengths and unique abilities.

Rejoining the Battlestar Galactica is a perilous mission with no margin for error. Most fleets will fail, but each attempt will provide new ways to overcome the unforgiving odds stacked against your survival.
Unlock up to four starting fleets, each with its own unique playstyle
Clear trials to access additional squadron units, gunstar weapons, and modifiers that will appear in your next run
Invest in valuable meta upgrades that will benefit all future fleets you command
Challenge higher difficulty levels to test your limits as a commander

Reviews
Captures the feeling of the show exceptionally well. Tension builds the deeper into a run you get. Choices matter and are increasingly difficult to make as resources dwindle.
Really challenging and fun
Дуже цікава гра, дякую за локалізацію
Excellent blend of turn-based/ real-time strategy makes for a unique experience. Its Frakking hard though!
I'm really enjoying this game more and more as I play it! I like the fact that you can still exit during a run and it will resume where you last logged off but it doesn't act like a save game where you could potentially see what might lay ahead and reload if it doesn't go well. Playing on easy to get used to the flow of the game is fine, but normal and hard ramp up pretty quickly. Even as you earn fate points for easier future runs, you can run at higher extinction mode to give you penalties again to keep things balanced while getting plenty of unlocks.
This game is so awesome!! A mix between a RPG and a shooter classic space game, stays very true to the TV show's formula for tactics and decision making while fighting for survival against an overwhelming force. They added a patch this week that fixed a lot of the problems that the people who have left mentioned. I LOVE THIS GAME!! Give it a try, also the devs are very active in their Alt Shift Discord and that community always seems willing to help newcomers. 11 out of 10 stars!!!
Well, I wouldn't play 99% of all games on steam, even for free...and I willingly bought this one, so I suppose it makes it top 1% (yeaaah, maybe not)? The music is nice, the audio-visual feedback makes me feel something, but I'm not blown away by either mechanics, nor the economy management. It's a solid 6/10. The events are happening too often to the point it makes it quite tedious to deal with. I like the idea of balancing relationships between factions, but it seems to be not worth to push any faction at a cost of worsening relationships with another faction - from my experience, it's just best to balance each faction to remain neutral, which kinda defeats the purpose. I would like to go all in on one faction to experiment, but the other factions just get too angry and constantly throw negative events at me - nah, I don't bother. I wish I could zoom in on ships in combat (or change camera angle), I would like some more QoL such as the auto-pause having options under which it triggers, advanced commands to control ships (attack move, hold e.t.c., just what you would expect from a modern RTS) or not having to completely reset whole meta-progression to re-assign one point (basically there is only addition, if you want to slightly tweak it, you have to reset completely). I suppose I could give it a 7/10 if the events, QoL and more options to build your army/economy are introduced. I give this game a positive review because I think it deserves it, however, I think it's unacceptable that some of the mentioned QoL/features aren't included as a baseline in a modern game.
Fun game set in the modern version Battlestar Galactica universe. Great value for the price point.
Great game with a lack of balance. This turn you fight 20 fighters per fight, next - 20 fighters per wave. Lab upgrades are not so beneficial to handle it. New weapons and ships too. But overall, ship management is good, though. Will stop playing and wait for new patches.
