Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is a survival fleet-management roguelite with procedural narrative design and real-time space battles. Shoulder the heavy burden of leadership as you make critical decisions for your fleet’s survival under constant pressure.
You command a fleet of survivors relentlessly chased by the Cylon Fleet. Each new run represents another desperate attempt to rejoin Humanity’s last hope: the Battlestar Galactica.
Prepare, fight, and survive at all costs.
So say we all.

Fleet Management phases offer limited turns to prepare until the next inevitable Cylon assault. As the enemy draws closer, designate priorities to ensure your fleet’s survival:
Dispatch expeditions to nearby points of interest for resources
Allocate supplies and personnel to resolve urgent situations
Upgrade ships for survivability and firepower
Train crew to improve efficiency in and out of combat

Your decisions continuously affect the Fleet’s overall status: faction politics, healthcare, and maintenance levels. Each indicator dynamically triggers narrative events tailored to your fleet’s condition. Your fleet’s fate can evolve in drastic ways if you’re not careful: epidemics, critical system malfunctions, or even a full-blown civil war.
In times of crisis, the Fleet looks to you to make hard decisions. Given your limited resources and time, determine if your fleet can afford to solve a crisis immediately or suffer its negative effects over time.
Perhaps the most challenging crisis you’ll face will be discovering a Cylon has infiltrated your ranks: investigating suspects will cost resources, but taking too long will cost lives.

The Cylon Fleet overwhelmingly outnumbers you. Each encounter is about survival, not victory. Fight high-risk tactical battles while your fleet prepares an FTL jump to safety.
Coordinate frontline squadrons with powerful Gunstar strikes in real time
Use Tactical Pause at any time to preview your attacks and enemy movements
Create synergies to deploy enemy-specific strategies by leveraging your unit strengths and unique abilities.

Rejoining the Battlestar Galactica is a perilous mission with no margin for error. Most fleets will fail, but each attempt will provide new ways to overcome the unforgiving odds stacked against your survival.
Unlock up to four starting fleets, each with its own unique playstyle
Clear trials to access additional squadron units, gunstar weapons, and modifiers that will appear in your next run
Invest in valuable meta upgrades that will benefit all future fleets you command
Challenge higher difficulty levels to test your limits as a commander

Scratches the FTL/Crying Suns itch so well!
Atmosfera riuscita, sensazione di avere a che fare di nuovo con la serie "originale" (nel senso di quella moderna, non di qualcosa di posticcio). Grafica degna di Nano Ananas. Tecnicamente incommentabile. Gameplay paragonabile ad un browser game. No.

FTL + BSG = FUN!!!
"Best FTL since FTL!" Before we begin as an FTL like you will be screwed over extremely hard by RNG there is nothing you can do about that sometimes the game just decides that this is where your run finishes. You will need to use all of your skills to try and mitigate this inherent screwing. Juggling multiple different crisis is to figure out a way to resolve all of them in the least moves possible. Sometimes you are just gifted good rng like that time my Raptor with the sniper cannon kept stacking rate of fire and range not too crazy until it was combined with a damage bonus the further away a target was the more damage it did. Or when the heavy fighter passively heals constantly and every time it defeats an enemy with taunt so you can keep them bunched up a good distance away from the mentioned sniper. Live for the overpowered synergy you discover because you will not enjoy them again. Six hours in playing on legendary difficulty I really thought I was going to beat my first campaign. Strong start a snow balling fleet providing me with enough resources. I tried to imagine each playthrough as its own series and this had all the drama. Coming down to a final crunch with my defending ships destroyed my fighter screen decimated and only 10 seconds left on the FTL calculation my flagship buckled. We knew we weren't going to get renewed for season 2 so we had to finish with a bang. From the backstreet deals with the underworld to keep resource is moving wild publicly putting pressure on them to keep the military and the workers happy. That last minute scramble in the final zone to secure 3 nuclear devices. Ignoring radiation leaks from the ftl through command incompetence or the compounding fuel leaks as the two refinery ships just pulled a thames water and kept enough supply going in it could just be ignored. A few brazen missions directly against the toasters to steal high value ships and equipment from them well worth the risk and forging fleet heroes. Or when that atomics launcher was sold to a monastery I didn't ask as I needed the scrap and I didn't need 2 of them define protection has atomic weight of 239. The infiltrator in our midst they didn't survive ejecting or they were dead by the time the recovery teams arrived. Trying to prove their loyalty taking on wave after wave of cylon Raiders. They had already pushed themselves to breaking point tending to high risk crisis is on the previous cycle The crew was as shocked as they were silent as I let them out of the brig only to be shocked again that they were actually gone taking toasters with them. I could have stop them they didn't have to prove their innocence or die trying.
A fun survival game, great for fans of Battlestar Galactica.
Like FTL but with additional existential dread
Amazing combination of buzzwords for me. An FTL-like with crisis management in a IP I love. if you enjoy resource management boardgames I'd definitly reccomend this, as half the game feels very boardgame like.
I really wanted to like this game, but ... 1) There is no way to tell a unit to hold fire and don't move. This makes life very, very frustrating on missions with mines. 2) The are unending crises and things that require your attention... including criminals, workers and your own military that are pack of whiny buttheads that won't shut up. To the point where you can't even finish an action with getting interrupted. If it weren't for these two massive annoyances, this would be a really good game.
