BattleJuice Alchemist

Overall, just a decent mix of action RPG and collectible card game. (Potions are similar to cards here.) The game stands toe-to-toe with some top-tier titles. The incredible level design (though just a couple of levels are currently available), soundtrack, and monster designs stand out for me. The use of potions in both combat modes makes battles exciting enough to keep you playing for hours. The storyline is easy to follow, and it works well for the game. Criticism: you have to loot and craft a lot that is a bit repetitive and boring at time. I don’t really enjoy the Close combat feature as it breaks the rhythm of the game for me. It’s really useful at the beginning though. It gets a solid 9/10. Definitely a must play.

Случайно наткнулась на эту игру в Стиме, стоила недорого, потому решила попробовать, да и люблю иногда почекать чего интересного можно найти. Игра веселая, стилистика прикольная и немного безумная, сначала не совсем понимала что надо делать, но в заданиях все достаточно подробно описано, если понимаешь английский. В итоге наиграла часа 3, пока нравится, жаль только, что все английском и нет русского текста, было бы намного удобнее.

Наконец-то разрабы вложились в геймплей, а не лучи. Правда читать пришлось много в туториале и без русского тяжеловато. Разрабы, выкатывайте уже локализацию! а озвучка будет кстати? В общем, если без спойлеров, то история опять о спасении мира на отдельно взятом болоте или что там уних. Судя по черепахам и непонятным дикообразам - болото. Стиль рисовки прикольный. Пока первый акт не прошел, на выходных еще погоняю. Офигенно работает джусификация. Я в играх раньше такого не видел. Решение с рандомом по зельям тоже прикольное. но я пробирки все же переставлял поудобнее. Боевка в ближнем бою ничего - сначала думал, что пошаговый, а он наполовину в реальном времени. Думаю, можно сначала по сюжетке, а потом так побегать, раз уж леса рандомные. Брать можно.

While it’s still just an Early Access game it is already worth your time at least to try it. Pro: - It has a very artful look and feel to it. - Interesting story - Not too complicated mechanics Cons: - Combat does feel a bit boring after a while. - There is not that much exploring to be had (yet), but looking at the current map and some of the secrets I found there is some decent potential. Took me about 2 hours to complete this version as a casual player on normal. Looking forward to the full release but with caution - I hope it will not be turned to be a boring grind on randomly generated wastelands.

This game should have much more of a follower base than it does, the concept is great, the combat feels fluid and there are multiple characters with different play styles.

BattleJuice is a very interesting little RPG with fresh mechanics. The art style is charming, and the alchemy system offers lots of room for experimentation.  I am especially captivated by the unique world design. It's not just another fantasy game. The story is also interesting so far. The game has this old-school touch, but with lots of new ideas. I really like that. For the price, you already get a pretty good deal, even in Early Access. I am looking forward to future updates and more content. I am especially excited about the survival mode that is teased in the menu.

This is not your run-of-the-mill RPG! Some really unique item and skill systems (and a surprisingly deep building system) that blends in a unique New England setting. And all with distinctive art direction and a cool story. While still in early access, there is some wonderful potential for this game and I would absolutely encourage you to give it a try. Looking forward to seeing how Battle Juice Alchemist continues to develop and grow!

Battle Juice Alchemist is super fun and different! Mixing potions and battling monsters makes for awesome gameplay. The alchemy system is cool and keeps things exciting every time you play. If you like action and fantasy with a twist, definitely check this one out!
