I have only played this game for like 40 minutes, yet I have seen and done everything the game offers. In terms of user experience, the game is very bland, and it contains no more than the very basics for a FPS shooter. The game is quite stable though, as it hasn't crashed, glitched, or bugged out at any point while I was playing. Regardless of that, I would avoid purchasing this game, as it offers NOTHING new or exciting at all. It's a very generic game. On top of that, it is also obvious to see that the game is using pre-built assets, such as the town map, which is literally a a drag and drop "Pro Wild West" map that you can buy on the Unity Asset Store. I am not completely sure about the guns, and I don't want to make any assumptions, but I feel like the fps multiplayer system, as well as the gun and player models, are also not crafted by the dev. This is kind of obvious by the extreme contrast between these and the cartoony map. If I were the dev, I would try to model my own map, and see how much fun it can be to see people play on something that you actually made yourself.

This game literally consists of a couple of asset packs thrown together into a fps shooter. It is very obvious that the dev has put minimal effort into this game and managed to actually push this through the holes of Steam Direct. There is literally NO reason to buy this game, unless you are really into looking at Unity standard asset packs.
Battlegun. Best Cartoon ♥♥♥♥♥. NOTE: IF YOU'RE PLANING TO BUY THE GAME, READ THIS BEFORE CONTINUING FUTHER. I just want to say, DON'T BUY IT [strike] unless you are going to make fun of it [/strike] First thing you notice is it's a unity game; now that already triggers a red alert, 'cause we all know unity is the most used game engine for scams. Next thing you notice when entering a game is there's no one playing. That's probably already a legit reason to not buy the game but nope... it gets worse. Next thing you notice is your movment speed is insane. When you look at the "buy" menu, you see shotgun and sniperifle. Wait... Sniperifle... movement speed is very fast... YEAH THAT WILL TOTALLY WORK. And the funny thing is it costs more than the starting gun when the starting gun is BETTER. Ahem, let's not get mad yet. You then slowly notice you and the enemy spawn in different spots, but it's the same spot OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Imagine CoD had the same spawnpoint in a map that is as a size of a house. YES THE MAPS ARE THAT SMALL. Moving on, SWAT vs Militia, in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WESTREN WORLD, OR SPACE. WHAT THE ACTUAL, MR. "DEVELOPER" WHAT THE ACTUAL. This game is just an asset flip. I bet there was no development process in that game. It's just pure trash. Also the enviorment is not triggering anything (TNT barrels etc won't explode which just proves my point of this game being an asset flip). Well then, so I went on looking who developed this game, and I saw it's the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy who made Raceland, another ♥♥♥♥ game that you just wish you never played. SO... Norven Games, all your games are a scam. IDK HOW YOUR STILL ALIVE, AND HOW YOU STILL DOING THOSE SCAMS OVER AND OVER. BUT.... IT must stop. So I went looked at the trailer, and it says "Best Cartoon Game" HAAAAAA omg that made me laugh. This is the Best Cartoon ♥♥♥♥♥. That's what it is. I went on looking on other games made by the same dev, they are all a scam. Don't buy from him. Just don't. Final Score: 0/10, at least it's a game.
Asset flip. Nothing more to say about the "game". Don`t give these turkish devs any money by buying this crap. And even better, please do us a favour and report this game as being broken. Thank you.
挺垃圾的FPS游戏 整体上就是建房对战,但没AI,没活人 树竟然都是没有碰撞体积的,完全没有任何理由浪费时间玩这种东西
Never in my life, have I felt completion until I acquired Battlegun. It all started in the summer of 2018, when my wallet was more strained than my pubescent 13 inch horse ♥♥♥♥. I had just finished a session of sinful cranking and wanking, when an email notification popped up on my screen. I used hotmail because I enjoyed getting ads from every corner of the internet, from diapers for infants to gay sex requests from hairyman22@yahoo.com (which I replied to questioning why the ♥♥♥♥ he would use yahoo to request for gay sex). Anyway, I came across the email: Free steam key! Click here! Not a joke! I was instantly enamored by the promise of a free steam game, and so I clicked the link without hesitation. Yes it could have gotten me a virus, but more importantly it had the possibility of A FREE STEAM KEY! And bless the lord, the email rang true! I got a steam key, unlabeled, unsure whether it would work or not. I plugged it into the ol' steam account, and I remember vividly hooting and hollering at the top of my lungs because the steam key was for Battlegun, an awardless winning classic with mixed reviews. I pumped my fist at the thought of me saving 42 cents on a game I got for free, from a HOTMAIL ADD no less. I launched the game, and after the 7th attempt I managed to boot up the screen. The music, the menu, it was the entire package. It almost felt unreal. I went into the server browser, and was greeted with 3 different empty servers all in different hieroglyphic languages not known to man. No matter, I thought to myself, It was only 3 pm in the afternoon, maybe people weren't just on at the time. After about 3 hours of waiting, I decided to boot up the game with a fellow friend of mine who also recieved the hotmail ad for Battlegun. We were cohorts in our endeavors in trying to launch the game, with our multiple unsuccessful attempts only fueling our desire to play the game. We finally reached our elysium when we loaded into the wild west map. We played for 10 minutes, crying in joy as we shot each other and the shots registering at a flip of a coin. We marveled at the copy paste elements of every single part of this game, and we compared it to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ titles such as CSGO and TF2. NO GAME SHOULD HAVE THIS GOOD OF A GRAPHICS AND RENDERING ENGINE. NO GAME SHOULD BE SO FUNCTIONAL IN ITS COMPETITIVE PLAY THAT IT MAKES FIGURING OUT HOW TO SHOOT A GUN HALF THE MATCH! We played for 10 minutes until the game's chinese spyware kicked in. Good experience, would reccomend!

Battlegun is just a dead game, and one that isn't very well made nor optimized either. Unless you like wandering the 3 available maps alone, or inviting friends - which I also do not recommend, dragging your friends into this mediocre FPS game. The games controls are smooth, and typical. Maps are basic, yet also designed well without any issues, bugs or glitches. But that's as far as it goes on what's good in Battlegun. The many problems I have experienced, includes; lack of text sizing to fit various screen resolutions, as I'm stuck squinting at the text and menu options without any way to enlarge the text. There's also the lack of settings for adjusting the volume and music, so I had to manually mute it on my PC. Then there's the lack of background details and borders in maps. When you run to the edges of the Wild west map, it's just a drop off, like the edge of a clip. This makes the game look very unfinished. And last, but not least, is the whole game itself is an asset flip. Everything are 3D models created from Unity engine and the like. In short, don't waste you money or time getting Battlegun. It being a dead server, and an asset flip are the 2 most big red flags here.
This game is a gem. The gunplay is fun and the maps are incredibly varied and interesting. Server hosting is easy and playing with your friends is a breeze. I have not seen any ping issues or bugs in my 3 hrs of playtime. Game also has no countermeasures against Cheat Engine, so if you get bored, you can just speedhack and meme with your friends.
