This game brings together everything you'd expect from a battlefield game. It feels a little bit more fast paced than other franchise games but it does so very well. The graphics are amazing, it feels like you're playing in a movie which is very cool. Most of the maps are good, personal preference but I do think that the bigger maps are a bit of a pain in the ass as it incentivises way too many snipers. The game-loop is fun, you have plenty of game modes to choose from and it seems like the game is still getting content for a little while. if you have a beefy CPU and a mid tier GPU, I recommend.

Not at full price I wouldn't recommend it. I bought Phantom Edition upon release and that is definitely not worth it. I played it a lot daily when it came out, got to rank 151. Took a long break hoping it would get better in some way. I came back to it after this long break, played a couple of games and it is same old same old. Nothing revolutionary going on here. I think to revive this franchise they need to look at what they did well like BF1 and BF4 and of course have games like these on a newer game engine. It's like everything they did well in previous games, they thought screw it with this one. The game is coming up to a year old soon and I honestly can't think of anything meaningful which has happened in the last year. Some maps have been ok but nothing like the quality or layout of the older games maps. I don't think this game will last and if it does it will be ticking over barely. The game looks nice, it is a tedious shooting game though. Do not buy it for single player, that is even worse. Multiplayer is very repetitive and there is not enough content. Very rinse repeat kind of game. If you want decent guns or attachments, expect an unrealistically long grind. This means other players will 9/10 come out on top whilst you are still unlocking things for a weapon to be better or more formidable. Battlefield have strayed so far from what made their franchise one of the best in the world. This isn't it though and given we are nearly a year since release and it feels the same old thing as day 1, it's not enough to pull me back in. I feel like there are more enjoyable non AAA title shooters on the market at the moment which are better than this.
