https://gaming.youtube.com/watch?v=fg53sfkQyuM&feature=share Battery Jam is a fun little multiplayer game that I initially thought was on-line multiplayer, but is only co-op. Combine Splatoon with Bomberman and you get the idea for this small title, and it's a fun combination. Play with up to four players or three ai bots if you lack friends, change the color of the tiles to yours, win by claiming the most in the two minute time-span. There's a bunch of levels, but there'e only the standard one vs. all and tag team modes to play in. Given this is a $15 title (US currency) that does cayse it to feel kind of barren for a final product. But, at least there's no local-only battle royale mode, so, there's that. But a capture the flag style mode would have been a nice addition for the sake of variety. Truthfully, this is a fun quick multuiplayer title that is good to throw on for parties and kids hanging out after school or in teens in their dorms. Sadly, this isn't something an every day adult is going to end up playing due to ther local only aspect. The dev has commented saying on-line multiplayer is not on the table, which eliminates a good amount of older players. I'm in my 30's and my friends are either busy with their kids, moved away, working two jobs, or suffer health issues like myself, making it impossible to get together in one room to game. So, because of that, the limited game modes, even simple things like more discernable player types, adjustments to the length of time per match, or how many matches are needed to come out on top in a tournament style, I cannot recomend this game, especially at this price. Hopefuklly these issues do get remedied. Hopefully this sells well and the devs get the funding needed to add on-line multiplayer as an option or expand on what is readily available, and I do wish them all the best with it.

Review time 2 days after early access release. So far a bit bare bones but the basics are great. Controls, music and graphics are really really nice. It instantly feels like a high quality game. Right now there is only one game mode in an all vs all mode and a team mode version but if they keep adding more modes and options in the future this has a lot of potential. 10€ also seems pretty fair already, if you enjoy the current mode you can probably get a lot of playtime from it already. Right now there are no bots so you need 2-4 players.

I've been following this game since its origin, and all I can say is that the amount of polish put into this game is phenominal. There are many who may complain about the lack of online multiplayer, however that's not the point of this game. The point of this game is to sit on the couch with your friends and kick some ass. Look at similar games like Overcooked, it's required that you need friends to play with locally otherwise the game is not fun. This isn't a game you play on the daily, but a game that you play at parties, you play when you're chilling with your friends smoking some salad. Another great example of this is Jackbox Party, another fairly priced game that's completely useless to own if you don't have friends to play with. Before buying, understand the fact that you will waste your money if you don't have friends, and don't blame the game for your lack of social life. Find some friends, play this game, and I guarantee you'll have plenty of fun.

Contrairement à ce que dit la fiche Steam : "multijoueur" ET "multijoueur local", le jeu n'est jouable en multi que dans la même pièce, ce qui tue à peu près totalement l'intérêt du titre. Si vous l'avez acheté soldé à 90%, passe encore, mais à 12 balles sur la base d'une fiche mensongère, c'est de la belle arnaque.

add multiplayer online, if u dont hv siblings or anyone to playwith, this game is UNPLAYABLE. add training with computer or something. add power ups like faster movement speed, shield, multiple projectile etc. seriously, this is need ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, game now days need online multiplayer i think. for now this game is no good

This game is an absolute blast to play with friends! The graphics are gorgeous and the mechanics are simple yet smooth. I can't wait to see the full release. Looking forward to more game modes and some options for playing when all my friends ditch me... oh god I'm so lonely.

This game is incredibly well made and a really fun time to play. Lots of love and time was clearly put into it, and it's gorgeous. It's local multiplayer which is to me super entertaining, but don't expect online play. Overall it's a great time and I highly recommend it!
