this game has mechanics of modern games, yes the control is dufferent from modern games but like sprint grab and jump has the same button. but the game is really good

Awesome game, I would give it 8.5/10. Not a fan of Titan Joker. But definetly Scarecrow and Killer Croc are the scariest parts of the game, Poison Ivy's story is very good.

cool batman game

solid 7.9/10 experience that perfectly nails the atmosphere and features an incredible roster of classic villains I truly loved encountering. However, I was left unsatisfied by the repetitive boss fights, which didn't live up to the game's otherwise stellar combat. Looking back, I do regret playing Arkham City before this, as it made the transition to the first game’s more limited mechanics feel a bit underwhelming.

Combat is janky at times, with counters being inconsistent when done after takedowns and quick batclaws, the inability to hit enemies when they're on the ground, etc. I also personally don't find the game as scary as people make it out to be. Given that, the simple but still in-depth narrative that understands and questions Batman's character + overall fun gameplay (even if a little rough around the edges, something that is improved upon in later installments) still make this game rock solid and one of the best superhero games out there.

This game is absolutely beautiful and an easy 10 out of 9. Even in 2026, this game is still golden. However, the final Joker boss fight really sucks, and the camera angles during that fight are brutal to play through. Keep that in mind before you purchase this game. If you spot this game on sale as part of a full bundle collection, you definitely want to purchase it—it is the best deal I have ever had. If you want the absolute best experience, you definitely want to play this game with a controller. Playing with a controller makes it a truly masterclass experience. If you don't have a controller, the game still works very well with a keyboard and mouse, but it just isn't as good of an experience as using a controller.
