Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 35/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ah, yes, that groundbreaking Batman game that redefined superheroes and action genre in general. The one that has condensed tight extremely engaging gameplay despite being pretty unsophisticated and approachable mechanically. The one that has created a story that can be enjoyed by both long-time Batman fans and new audience alike. The one that has no business looking this good in The Year of Our Lord 2026. Yeah, I guess you should probably try it out, maybe, idk, I'm not your mom or anything.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

My childhood missed this game ,this is such a masterpeice and way ahead of its time , the stealth meachanics in this game is way too good and comabt appeaars janky at start but once u get good u will enter flow state , and its peak 2 things i want to point which i have to say for new players unlocking all challenge mods is assosciated with riddler trophy so u will be foreced to do 100 % riddler to unlock all challenge mods, combo system is so brutal than spiderman games . i loved all the challenge mods , the combat is so addicting , a must play to get into the batman franchise
Way better than half of the million dollar budget games being released today. this games concrete proof that great gameplay matters more than flashy graphics
I expected to enjoy Batman: Arkham Asylum much more than I actually did. The story kept me interested, but the gameplay was the biggest reason why I never enjoyed the experience as much as I expected. The combat feels clunky, especially the dodge mechanic. There were too many situations where I reacted in time, moved away from an enemy attack, and still took damage. It never felt consistently responsive, which made every fight more frustrating than satisfying. It constantly reminded me of older games where avoiding attacks didn't always work the way you expected. The story was enough to keep me going, but the combat never stopped feeling clunky, and because it's the core of the game, it had a significant impact on my overall experience. I'm Batman This game does everything well and you FEEL like batman, the atmosphere, gameplay, character designs everything was peak. I absolutely cant wait to check out the other two Arkham games after this. i loved the amount of lore this game packs in about the games characters via the collectables and hell even character that dont appear it feels like a love letter to DC's batman. It has overwhelmingly positive reviews for a reason and for 2010??? this game holds up extremely well. it goes for chum change most times nowadays too so absolutely get this gem. i cant do this game justice in a review it has to be experienced by hand.

GOOD
Batman: Arkham Asylum – Detective Mode or Nothing, Apparently
★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7/10) A great and somewhat cinematic game that still holds up surprisingly well. The combat is simple and straightforward. It can get a little repetitive after a while, but the boss battles help keep things interesting. Most of them feel quite different from each other, which is nice because otherwise Batman would just be punching the same guy clone for 10 hours. The biggest downside for me is the Detective Mode. If you don't keep it turned on constantly, you are going to miss so many things while playing through the story. Secrets, collectibles, clues, hidden areas... Batman apparently cannot be a detective unless he is looking at the world through thermal vision 24/7. In a way, this does give you a reason to replay the game and find everything you missed. But during the first playthrough, it sometimes feels like the game is deliberately hiding things from you just to make you turn Detective Mode back on. "Congratulations Batman, you found the secret area. You only had to look at the entire world through detective vision." Other than that, the game runs extremely well on modern PCs, which is always nice when playing an older game. Overall, it's still a very fun Batman game with satisfying combat and a great atmosphere. Not perfect, but definitely worth playing if you've somehow managed to avoid Arkham Asylum for this long.
