Super fun to play, and the replayability is also top notch
i feel like im fundamentally misunderstanding something ab the game when playing. melee is genuinely impossible. you either have to tank every hit, or play an awful game of cat and mouse as you try your best to make space between you and the one mob youre trying to avoid taking damage from. ranged is either shoot a guy for half an hour with nerf darts, or wait 7 business days for mana to regen. if there was a change at the games core to focus on making the combat any bit interesting. i would probably come back. as it is, or has been for the past 10 or so years. no thank you. it feels like a game me and my friends would put together at 15 to troll people who want to enjoy videogames.
I've played this game for like 62 hours and every run i could not even get past the damn sand labyrinth (the miniscule amount of times i went there i can actually can count with my hands) until i decided to drop the class i usually play and pick one that i have next to no experience from, (which is paladin salamander) and then on the third attempt at a random 3 am tuesday i got past genuinely every level AND secret level no issue with the class that i know jack diddly ♥♥♥♥ about and killed both final bosses in 5 basic attacks. and then i realise i was awake the whole night and its 9 am. what the ♥♥♥♥ is this game played it before and refunded it only to try it again, and regretted that i've never played it for a little bit more to give it more of a chance, really good game genuine 10/10 for me
Haven't gotten too far yet, but I'm really enjoying the gameplay loop of building up my character from scratch to a god before getting quickly humbled. Cool classes and mechanics, and plenty to do/find
I am now scared of rats and midgets. Thanks for nothing. <3
Definitely feeling this game's age. Deserves a sequel and I'd definitely pay for it! Not a fan of how long it takes the average player to reach the deeper dungeon levels. Some kind of way to "quick start" a run (after previously beating a milestone at or beyond it, obviously) would vastly improve my experience.
BOULDERS
fantastic game
fun with friends
Sure its good, but the lootpool just feels a little too small. I also feel like the progression could be a bit more clear, why am i constantly being outscaled? The first few hours are great, the rest is just what it is. Either you like it or you dont. I would still recommend 7.4/10
