Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 18.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Enter dungeon, find rat, die Enter dungeon, find rat, kill rat, find skeleton, die Enter dungeon, find rat, kill rat, find skeleton, kill skeleton, get crushed by boulder, die 9.1/10, amazing boulder death simulator In seriousness, the game is super fun solo, but definitely more fun when played multiplayer. I, as usual, hate splitscreen, so if you have friends (lucky), have them buy their own copies or buy copies for them. The game is really good in its current state. I can't think of any big things that I want them to add, and there aren't too many obnoxious bugs. Do note, however, that if you switch between screens with two different settings, it's really glitchy. So far, the only fix I've found is to simply delete the config file, which sucks, but it isn't the end of the world as all you really need to do is reset a few settings. I haven't actually noticed any bugs when ingame so far, so good on them. The graphics are abysmal, but it has good art direction, colors, and great performance, so I don't really care that much. The gameplay is top tier, only missing an easy mode. It's very customizable and allows for a plethora of different playstyles. Sneaky and slow: Rouge, Skeleton Sneaky and fast: Accursed, anything fast-ish paced and deadly: Insectoid, wizard Mid paced and leader-y: Succubus, mesmer / Knight anything Mid paced and smart: Automaton, tinkerer etc... The one thing that I do really want them to change is the audio. Not all of it, mind you, but stuff like the Ghoul and Baron Herx have terrible audio. When mixed with the pretty good music and ambient sounds, bad audio quality is really immersion-breaking. If it weren't for the audio problems and display glitches, I would give it something closer to 9.7-9.9/10. Absolutely incredible game, I recommend.
You can get as mad as you want at Barony, it won't un-smear you across the floor because you stood under a boulder trap. Your little level 1 wizard casting fireballs at the rat over there was just clobbered to death by two skeletons with rusty hammers. Sucks to be that guy, right? Barony is like a drill instructor that actually wants you to start succeeding. You either need to rise up to the challenge or become the newest wall decoration because this game has absolutely no chill and WILL find a way to kill you unless you use your inner metagaming power-leveling ARPG roguelike powers and become god before it finds a way to murder you even more spectacularly than last time. (Also the DLCs are a blast)
Reminds me of the mystery of learning minecraft mixed with DnD, like playing them for the first time, although the game is simple it is also complex, i like it. Should be played wih freinds
excellent game. gameplay is varied, its quite difficult and rewards intelligent play, and on the whole generally gives you the tools you need to succeed. there's a lot to it and i can't as of writing really be the one to explain any of it for the sake of this review. however i can put some critiques. the main one is simply that the game is too punishing at times. yes that's the point gold star for you, but there's a difference between "you made a mistake/series of mistakes and failed to rectify it" and "you have been stunlocked by a scorpion because you made the mistake of playing a melee class" or "death by random bolder hole hidden behind like 4 walls". while not insanely common, most deaths WILL be your fault, there's a certain level of irritation when a run is going well and the game just decides i get to lose because rng gave me the middle finger. the game pads its difficulty a bit with an over-reliance on situations of that nature and while FAR from game ruining for me it can be a pain in the ass to deal with on occasion. another thing albiet much lighter as how some mechanics included in the base game require a dlc in order to actually flesh them out. notably tinkering and alchemy which both require a dlc to access the classes based around them. of course the dlc and game as a whole are cheap and the devs are a business after all so this is a very minor complaint but it is still one i feel is worth levying. lastly the minotaur mechanic is annoying, it barely increases the difficulty as you shouldn't be on one level for more than 2 to 3 minutes anyway after the first two or three and just gets annoying after a certain point. solid 9/10. i'm sure multiplayer fixes some of these issues but i don't feel that's a defense for a game like this.
