Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There is a good game hidden somewhere in this mess but I cannot recommend it in good faith. The amount of backtracking is insane. Combat is bad. Narrative is mediocre.
I can comfortably recommend this game during deeper discounts, i would not recommend it at full price. When i was first looking into this game i saw comparisons to the Witcher 3, yes it is a dark RPG and you do investigations, but the similarities end there. If i had to make a comparison, the gameplay and exploration feels the closest to the new gen God of War games. The controls, level design even combat feel sometimes like a copy even. Then you mix in the dark RPG elements with investigations and you get this game. I have seen other reviews mention that the game is too dragged out for its own good and i can feel it already 8 hours in. The exploration and level design are not that amazing, it is semi-linear just like GoW, there is backtracking. It does feel more like a chore between the story beats. The combat aint bad but im never looking forward to fights either. The main driving force are just the stories for me. On the topic of story, you can feel the ruthless dark atmosphere which is great. Im yet to feel any meaning or consequences to my choices, the game is very transparent from the start that your choices will affect the ending, but i would like to see some immediate consequences as well. Right now i have made some pretty messed up choices on purpose and nobody seems to care so far. This pretty much sums up the game all the way up to defeating the first major boss, i might edit the review upon full completion if anything changes. EDIT after finishing the game: The first 8 hours did feel slow, but after the game opened up it turned into grocery shopping, meaning you follow a list of tasks and walk a LOT. The stories were interesting but progressing them was a big chore. It felt like every investigation involved 15 minutes of walking and dull repetitive combat. I did all of the investigations and still managed to finish the game fairly quickly in the end, but it was still pretty rough. As other reviews have mentioned this could have been a solid 10-15hr story focused experience instead of this semi-open world chore checklist. Still i stand by my recommendation, during big discounts this game is worth experiencing, but have your expectations straight.

Histoire absolument géniale, bons combats, j'ai passé un excellent moment. J'ai particulièrement adoré le personnage de Antea.
For everyone who loves fleshed-out NPCs, manzy small stories that feel real and have meaningful choices. Cons: A lot of backtracking, repetitive fights and puzzles
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 and PSVR2
You can view my full review here: https://youtu.be/-LSuogPbVbA I played the whole game in VR, mostly in 180 3D using the free UEVR mod by Praydog. Game is awesome, but best experienced in VR. There are many thrilling 3D effects throughout the game. It is honestly one of the best experiences I've had in VR. This is a narrative-driven game about 2 ghost-hunters or banishers. You'll come across many different stories & mysteries from the people in this fictional & fantastical location full of magic. What makes these stories special is how well-written they are. The characters have real motivations and have depth behind them. You'll come across moral dilemmas and have to question what the right thing to do is or if you should even try to do the right thing. Your choices matter and will have severe consequences. You will be the judge, jury, and executioner in many cases. Not only are the stories well-written, but also voice-acted superbly. The production values here are top notch. The game reminded me a lot of The Witcher 3 in that way. The game also has a lot of combat. While the combat is satisfying, the game does run into the problem of there being perhaps too much combat. There's not enough enemy variety or skill unlocks / upgrades to keep up with the constant barrage. I think the game would have better served to cut off some of the excess fat here. Less would have been more. The same can be said about the puzzles / platforming in this game. They start off nice, but they don't ever evolve into something more. The good news is that most of the side activities that can get repetitive are totally optional. The main story and side quests are the best part of the game and rarely disappoint. One last thing that I want to mention is the relationship between Red and Antea. It is among the best portrayals of a couple in gaming. I would say this is the best romantic love story in gaming I have ever come across. What are you willing to do for love is the ultimate question this game seeks to ask. This game is unlike any I've ever played to date. The combat is a breath of fresh air as it changes the way you take on enemies. Each quest is entirely unique as is each of the main boss fights. The story is filled with emotion as is each of the Haunting Cases. The exploration is vast, the puzzles tickle the brain, and the rewards are insane! It truly is one of the best games I've played.
muito bom, bem legal side quests interessantes, história rica, cuidem com suas decisões!
I cannot describe how this game made me feel. I was crying at the end, I raged, I laughed, I loved every second of it. No, this game is not perfect and has its flaws, but I don't care for those if story is good. And my oh my this game has THE STORY for you. Please, play it. This game deserves more love and appreciation. Many people complain about combat and, while it can be a little clunky, I really-really liked all this switch thing and it felt dynamic enough for me. Also rifle is OP :D The only real compain I have is, probably, Antea's VO. She sounded so blant to me, comparing to all the other characters, whos VO is amazing. Also I lacked variability of quests startpoint. Maybe it will be great if haunting case can be activated not necesserily from the NPC itself, but also if I accidentally stumble upon the place where ghost lingers or whatever?.. I want now another game in this world. I am so, so, so sorry, Deborah. You didn't deserve any of this. 10 nightmares out of 10
The game got even better when I learned it is written in the same universe as Vampyr.
Not exactly a 10/10, but it is a very solid entry in this genre. Has a lot of charms, if a bit of a clunky combat system.
