A fun and interesting anti-grav racer game, I like it. Though i have only raced without weapons as of now, but still, the basic racing functions of this game are beautiful. though i cant say it's perfect. 9/10
Have had this game for a while now. Great fun when I first got it and periodically visit it from time to time. Love seeing the native content grow with time and the community even moreso. My only gripe is that the main campaign is focused around WipeOut 3 physics moreso than WipeOut HD physics - not to say it doesn't exist (I see you 2280 campaign). Would've loved to see a a more seamless campaign blend between the two physics modes. Not to worry though, that's merely a preference than a strike against this game. Does not stop me from getting hooked and tilted repeating certain races from the brutal AI in Expert mode (circa 2021-2022, idk if it has been updated then). Runs well on most systems I own (oldest one being a 4770 16GB + 2060) and Steam Deck. The physics itself is faster than the original WipeOut, so a 144Hz+ display is a boon to visual fidelity in faster game modes. Credits to VonSnake and the team, excellent game period. (Yes I know there's community content for 2280.)
Game's terrible. Horrible controls / response / too much drag, weak sound effects. Mario kart is better.
Es el wipeout encarnado
Wipeout
I love this game, truly a worthy succesor for wipeout Fury which was a childhood racer game of mine, I was never really big into racing games but this one is just so unique to me, wether its the graphic style, the dynamic difficulty or all the different campaigns vechicles and gamemodes, this game takes the crown for racing games when it comes to that for me, Highly recommended
yes
Drive very slippery cars, go fast on dozens of tracks, and vibe to many hours of great electronic music
Its ok. Faithully recreates the wipeout style. But as I remembered from the playstation days, its not the best to control and race.
i can finally retire my PS4 tough i wish the devs would adress the VR world scaling issue
