Reviews
A 100 percent completion is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ painful. When you have the type of mind that can’t leave until all achievement is unlocked, get ready for a real grind. But the first 50 hours of playing are sheer magic. It is easy to understand the mechanics and yet there is so much depth to them. I would definitely recommend it for its awesome card building aspect.
value per dollar spent this game is a 10/10

Initially I did not see the point of this game. Like it was simple with the poker hands and was fun and all, but because I didn't understand how complex and interesting all the unique cards are. The jokers, vouchers, and booster packs, once you get a sense of how they work with some research, unlocks so much strategy and broadened the game for me. I know the price is always a bit high and only goes on discount a bit. But trust me its worth it, this game will actually occupy your time (in a good way) and be really, really fun. Literally all the great AAA games i buy seem so much harder to be in the mood for, when Balatro is always chill to play literally anytime at all. Value: 9/10 Strategy: 7.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Overall Rating: 9/10 Should you buy? Yes, if you like games that are satisfying, relaxing, and strategic all at once. No, if you cant afford it, or have enough rougelike, or deckbuilding Indie games. Imo game libraries are best when they have a balance of different types of games. If you have some aaa but need some games when your tired and have low time, get an Indie game, and definetly Balatro is one of the best options out there.
Addicting game, and there is so much you can do that you may overlook because they aren't meta. Also there is infinite content to add when you mod, i just wish there were mods on the steam workshop :)
Poker baby!!!!!
Lightweight, i wish the control is more like in the phone version
