I like this game a lot
Needs all the improvements they mention in their roadmaps and than some. Not worth playing until they release em, well see if even than.
A bit overpriced for its current state, but very fun regardless. Some bugs that could use some ironing out. If you are looking to get this game I'd say give it a bit more time to bake or just pick it up when its on sale.

I wasn't crazy about the price but I bought it anyway. I wasn't crazy about the fielding controls, but I got used to them. I have seen some bugs that will hopefully get fixed eventually, but overall the game is a lot of fun to play, especially if you are a fan of this series. I do recommend it, but be patient in the beginning. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve here compared to most or all other baseball games. It's not hard really, just different for some reason. It would be nice to have a "classic controls" option because moving the stick to a base doesn't always work so good. From what I have seen though, the devs are aware of this and want to make it better. Here's hoping they will because this has potential to be a great game for a long time.
very nostalgic from the game that I played growing up
Its so good to see this game be back!

mint game
good game
As a millennial who loved the 97 and 2001 Backyard Baseball and other Backyard Sports games, this game scratches the nostalgia itch while also being well updated enough to feel new. Fielding takes a bit to get the hang of but once you do, it makes fielding way more precise than the older versions of this game. The fidelity to characters is great. It's also way more realistic in terms of pitching stamina because it was previously ridiculous that Kenny could make it through an entire game without ever getting tired. Also I love the little animations on various fields when you hit objects during the game. The graphics are great and overall I think this game is really enjoyable.
