Fun game, active dev, and great to speedrun
Just beat the game with 63% achievements with my friend. Its a super fun and trippy realistic backrooms game taking you through giant magnificent levels like the parking garage, office, hotel and a little poolrooms area too. Explore the levels with your friends escaping evil entites like skin stealers and death moths. The game is full of magic and fun experiences!
The game is alright. Kinda buggy, the moths glitch in a spot and there's no jumpscares. You'll literally die instantly! The game has potential but its not there yet. The character happens to walk on it's own when I spawned and my screen freezes when i walk into a different area. Please improve it more and have jumpscares instead of signal lost blue screens. If that happens, I'll change my post review but to rate the game is 4.5/10.
I'm going to start off the record from playing through this 3 separate times over the span of a week. You did a really good job with level design, as well as nailing the atmosphere and feeling of being isolated, so good job on that part. But i feel as a content creator who's played at least a hundred or more backrooms/liminal space games in the genre. I think where this game kind of annoyed me was how you're gatekeeping the most beautiful level in your game (Level 37) from people who are in love with (Level 37), like I am and the majority of my community are huge Poolrooms fans. By hiding one item behind a wall you have to no-clip through to even find the main item (a valve wheel) to even access it besides the (screwdriver, extra key, and having extra fuses) (thank you to the Backrooms: no way out discord member Jellie for the tidbit of info regarding this) I think that's when I was kind of turned off and I'm afraid that all this to access your "Secret level" is kind of silly in the grand scheme of things I don't want to say its to extend play time (I hope that's not the case) but I digress. I feel that if you want it to be a "Secret" then you should add some subtle hints or add a descriptive text to said items in order to not add extra frustration that is unnecessary and could possibly result in a negative review or feedback which would only hurt the game in the long run. But this is my own personal opinion, I hope you take this criticism as positive feedback and not a bashing on the idea of your "Secret level 37". But all that being said, I really enjoyed what I played. Performance: > The game was well optimized, ran it on max settings, the poolrooms were a tad chuggy at times, but it wasn't bad performance-wise, all things considered. Things i liked: > The sanity drain seemed well balanced for the amount of almond water, coffee, strawberry milky, and chocolate bars throughout the levels. I never had an issue with that. > Movement speed, as well as the stamina pool we had, was very good in my opinion. > The flashlight was plenty bright, not to dim nor too bright. Things to adjust: > I would almost tone down the excessive breath a smidge, maybe when running out of stamina, this might get annoying to some. Bugs I encountered: > Occasionally, if you are fast-swapping to your inventory to drink or eat, sometimes you can drink or eat the same item multiple times to boost your sanity, then after exiting your inventory, the item will disappear. I will update my review when I publish my gameplay video of it.
So far absolutely amazing game! Fun and can't wait to see the future of the game! 10/10 would recommend.
I'd rate this as meh if I could, it's understandable for an Early Access game so I hope it improves, and it's actually decent for a Backrooms game! Although one downside is that it yoinks a lot of things from Escape the Backrooms and it feels like it's a desperate attempt to be better than that game
Game's too buggy, stuck on fuse box level can't put fuses on a fuse box, teammates sometimes get stuck unable to move at the start of a level, Sudden FPS drop out of nowhere.
you often get stuck, juices wont disappear after grabbing it and so many more bugs. game is too buggy to be playable. wont be recommending this
esta bien el juego pero para lo que cuesta no
