Back in Service: a Metro Driver

Очень атмосферный и крутой симулятор,только иногда лагает на станциях.Только хотелось бы видеть на номерном и ечеесе заводские окрасы(на номерном зелёный в синюю полоску,а на ечеесе голубо-синюю) а так игру я всем советую,спасибо за такой крутой симулятор!

THE most realistic metro/subway game on Mac! Great sound, great graphics, great performance - and its available on Mac!

Oh boy, this is as real as it gets. Amazing work has been done on this game. I remember these soviet Metrowagonmash metros from my childhood, we had them too in Budapest. And I re-live those memories while playing... attention, doors closing, then they slam, next stations is whatever, parking brake releases with a hiss and the journey starts, motors spinning up. When a soviet tech moves, it is violent, it is loud. Motors screaming, wheels grinding in the curves, its shaking, feels like we crossed the sound barrier while you hold onto the metal handrails. Then next station arrives, pilot puts the controller into resistor braking, it is still violent, motors screaming, resistors glowing red, the train slows down violently. THen the airbrake starts to bite, and it stops, you hold on the handrail like your life depends on it. Doors slam open, compressors roar. You are there. Like - Amazing work on the sounds. This is unbelievably realistic, every sound. The scream, the way motors spin up, the hissing, the clicking of electro-mechanical controls, the way the PA system sounds. I almost feel that smell of oil and heated up resistors as those trains smelt like. - Unfortunately I never had the chance to gun it to one of these monsterous trains, but the controls, the way they brake, the change in the controller braking logic (high speed vs. soft braking on station pump it up) feel so real. - Amazing work on the lights. The tunnel is dark. The train headlight is dim and yellow, it looks soo realistic, not that full white like many games. The color and the shape of the headligt beam is so precisely done. Also the instrument lights. Many games butcher instrument ligths, but this feels good. - Both the EV3 and 81-717 are alive and very realistic as they looked back then. I hope the 4 aux high beam 81-717 variant is not unique to Budapest and the aux beams would be available as upgrade. - I love that I am not a train. I am a person able to pick up trains, order trains, or just hop on them. This is so unique in the gaming industry, and makes it extremely immersive. - It is so cool that even the end-station turn-around logic is funcitonal, with decision where to route the train. - Train safety system realistically stops the train if speed violated or red light crossed. - Proper block light and route set system - Experience points and upgrades to buy on it - Side quests - TImetable and no timetable driving (I like the no time pressure but still real mode) - Passengers walk on and sit down - Conductor mode, and ticket checking - Pax on the station jump if I honk them :) Dislike - I do not like the way the control panel resets when I turn it off. It should just turn off, detach from the control system, but not reset switch positions. - The resetting cab also causes experience lose. I stop at the end station Skala. Open the doors to release pax, off the cabin, walk to the other end, turn it on and since buttons reset, saloon lights go off. And I get 500 fine for driving with lights off. - Also, cab should not turn on when I sit into the seat. - It is not fully documented, what makes the controller to switch the brake appliance mode between line mode and the "pump it up" mode braking. Bottom line, this game is probably only for train enthusiasts. But whoever tried those beast soviet metros, it just feels extremely realistic. I am happy to have this nostalgic experience in this game.
