BABYLON'S FALL

Babylon's Fall is actually really good! Platinum did a lot to fix the issues and add new content. But Square-Enix is shutting down the servers because it didn't sell well enough. They are throwing the players, and Platinum under the bus, but it was Square's incompetence that killed this game, but they don't care about that, so instead it's everyone else's problem. They released the game a week after Elden Ring, with really poor server performance issues, a loaded with micro-transactions and a battle pass. On top of being online only, so when the server does shut down you will no longer be able to play Babylon's Fall ever again. This game is just dead through no one else's fault but Square-Enix. Never invest in a online only game from Square, they kill them off at the same rate Netflix kills off fan favorite TV shows of theirs. So yeah, this review is more to call out how terrible Square-Enix is as a publisher, and that they will take everything from their players, and developers, and give nothing back in return. No support, no communication, no commitment to their games or players, they just don't care at all and refuse to listen.

game wasnt that bad tbh. ive played worse. and i had 2B ass kinda when playing :3 but.. RIP Square Enix's Babylon's Fall

its not as bad as people say combat can be decent and near platiums normal level if you learn it, the live service stuff is annoying but i never had to grind or replay stuff to beat the main story. the game looks ugly in the early areas but some of the later areas can look nice. idk its not super amazing but id say its a 6/10 def not the worst game of 2022 as many youtubers made it out to be. their footage only showed the first 2 lvls as well curious. im still confused how se and plat managed to result in this kinda wired mess of a game but i think they could have atleast tried to rework some of it oh well lole

i want my money back i only played a few mins of this game and now it's closing
