[h1]Baba Is You: The Puzzle Game Where Rules Are Suggestions[/h1] I want to preface this review by saying most of the game was played on the mobile version, but most of the stuff i will say still applies, despite the amount of time played upon the time of this review. I am also new to puzzle games so don't take too many criticisms to heart. I understand Baba is you is a unique and specialist puzzle game, but i found the game interesting so i bought it. [h2] The Good [/h2] The puzzles of the game are fun and unique as a result of the developer's approach to rules, where instead of being fixed, they can be changed around at will. Thus, rules are less like constraints and more like suggestions that a player can change. It has smooth gameplay and the characters (Baba, Keke, Me, It) are cute as hell, and the style is simple, retro and beautiful, and the soundtrack is fun to listen to and is equally retro. [h2] The Neutral[/h2] Since this is a meta-puzzle game very much inspired by Sokoban, the game expects you to pick up on concepts faster than other puzzle games, and often times concepts that seem obvious to puzzle veterans are often lost to people new to the genre. [h2] The Bad [/h2] I want to preface this section by saying this is a subjective criticism, not objective hard facts. The most important flaw is that some puzzles are either brain dead easy (usually puzzles introducing new mechanics) or hard enough to the point i had to look up solutions on Youtube. You WILL look up solutions on youtube more than once. Do Not Be Ashamed. [h2] Conclusion [/h2] Simply put, despite it's brain-breaking difficulty and Sokoban-like philosophies, Baba is you is a wonderful game I absolutely would recommend.

본작의 참신함은 분명 인정합니다. 어디에서도 듣도 보도 못한 방식을 제공하여 '이런 기믹도 다 있구나'라는 생각이 들 정도로 상당히 신선하게 다가옵니다. 초반부는 확실히 그런 매력이 돋보였지만, 이후 난이도가 너무 가파르게 상승합니다. 특히 뚜렷한 설명조차 없이 요구하는 사고 수준이 높아지다 보니, 작품 특유의 이질적인 시스템과 맞물려 플레이 경험이 상당히 난해하게 변질되고 맙니다. 스테이지를 진행하다 보면 마치 스스로가 바보가 된 것 같은 기분이 자주 들고, 눈앞에 펼쳐진 상황 자체를 이해하기 힘든 순간들이 많았습니다. 이는 유저의 지능이 부족해서 깨지 못한다기보다, 시스템 자체가 플레이어를 바보로 전락시키는 쪽에 가깝습니다. 논리에 대한 친절한 설명이 없고 해결 방식의 일관성마저 결여되어 있으며, 허들은 아무런 절제 없이 높아지기만 합니다. 여기에 'Baba Is You'만의 기상천외한 규칙까지 더해지니, 이는 문제를 푼다기보다는 개발자의 숨겨진 의도를 해독하는 과정에 가깝게 느껴집니다. 신선함을 기대하고 접근했으나 큰 실망만 남았습니다. 규칙을 마음대로 재조합할 수 있다는 얕은 자유도와, 명확한 정답을 요구하는 퍼즐의 강박이 가장 불쾌한 형태로 충돌해 버린 결과물입니다.

Каждый уровень — это проп, и каждый проп сам по себе становится новым уровнем. уровень, в свою очередь, тоже может оказаться пропом, который нужен, чтобы пройти ещё более комплексный уровень. Каждый раз, открывая дверь, за ней оказывается что-то новое, а иногда этого нового настолько ♥♥♥♥♥, что человек, который решил закрыть игру на сто процентов, спустя час утомительной мозгоебки дропнит Этот фрактальный геймплей. Расскажите разработчику, что много — это, конечно, хорошо, но нужно уметь вовремя остановиться.
