Baba is you is easily, EASILY my favorite puzzle game ive ever played and probably will ever play. In its most basic form its literally just playing around with rules, but its taken to such insane lengths that levels past a certain point feel like massive complex mazes. Other than a handful of levels, the over 200+ levels that this game has to offer are all unique and challenging. Some you beat in a matter of seconds while other take multiple sessions of trying to break the boxes that the level builds just to make sense of it. Either way the absolute joy you get from completing them is unlike a lot of puzzle games out there. Arvi Teikari is such a talented game maker. When I found out that this game was made by the same person that worked on Noita, I went yeah that makes sense since the wand building is pretty simular to this game. But also being the creator of Environmetal Station Alpha is mindblowing. Im already 40 hours deeper than I thought this game would last me, and I still think im missing at least a forth of the game, consisting of the hardest levels so itll probably take me another 40.
