Pro: - ???? IDEA - Graphics Con: - Bad controls - Annoying gameplay - It's too hard - Lots of bugs. - After death, you can still hit. The texts protrude from the image. The camera once approached and did not recover. - Most enemies will kill you with one or two hits. - The look has a strong asset feel. Missed opportunity, pierced workmanship. Good idea and good playing style.
I bought it 'semi-random' on a discount just to test how 1. older 'unsuported' and Windows only game work on Steam Deck (Proton) 2. how much side-scrolling games fit on deck 3. somethink i can play on train for 6h on battery And i surprised how nice this game is and that its work almost out of box on Deck (need change Resolution from 1200x800 to 1200x720 to walkaround some truncated text edge) Its nice game to play it on Deck when in travel. I recommend it for all that for any reason looking for older games :P
画面不错,但是战斗系统挺不好的,经常砍空。
No! Too bloody one sided, Controls are beyond control, and the absolute pathetic high speed of losing "Conviction" makes me lose conviction of ever playing it again. 1st: They strike like crazy, but you are like Click, ho-hum, strike, ho-hum, OH, you're ready to click again, um, gimme a moment. 2nd: The controls could probably be taken care of by using, um, a controller, but I'm a KB user, and hate controllers. 3rd: By the time I can get my fingers to the bloody Conviction casts to USE them, the conviction is almost gone already. That's IF(!) I haven't died by then. It fades WAY TOO FAST! 10-20 at a time!?!?! Bite Me!! I Do Not Recommend. I play games to ENJOY them. If I have to work at them, then bloody well pay me for my time.
Fun for one or two hours. Pros: - Nice graphics - Nice level design Cons: - Achievements broken (won't get any) - Traps often can be seen when it's too late - Sometimes enemies are hidden behind the environment
+ a lot of work went into the environment and models - story is given as pages to collect; I'm a fan of "show, don't tell" in games - wonky controls (played on keyboard & mouse) - a few bugs - the foreground can block the view of combat/traps - achievements don't work (still? saw another review mention it...) overall: there's a lot of potential there, but as it is I can't recommend it
I tried for 2 hours to give this game a chance, but it sucks, it has some good ideas but the execution fails expetacularly because of the controls. As a lot of the other reviews will tell you, the game is hard and that`s great, but the difficulty is exponentially increased by the terrible lack of responsiveness of the controls. You will die a lot, but not because of your mistakes, but because the hit detection is really really bad. Fix the hit detection and you will have a solid game, as it is right now, not recomended...
Overall a very nice game, although i must say it provokes a lot of frustration sometimes because of the difficulty level, i would say is set to extreme, it has been a long time since i felt frustration and in the same time feel the urge to continue and press on, graphically very nice, a lot of imagination and effort has been put in this game, and there is a lot of room for improvements. The developer is also very responsive and open minded. I would also like to see it on the mobile platform, maybe the devs would consider this. Thank you and keep at it.
I feel like I'm in 2008 when I play this.
