But after giving it a shot I have to admit that there’s a lot of polish in this game and there’s some satisfying gameplay to be had. To be fair, the game is just about throwing axes and nothing more. But it works incredibly well and there’s lots of attention to detail in the whole game. Even down to having destructible environments in the menu. The main game is a mini campaign of throwing challenges. You’re given limited time and a limited amount of throws. But if you can hit the target enough times then you’ll progress to the next level. In each level the type of target and the targets distance will change. All of the music has a heavy metal feel to it, which feels perfect for throwing axes. There’s also unlockable axes, and if you hit the optional balloons you’ll earn achievements. It’s priced at $7 which feels just right. Axe Throw is surprisingly polished casual fun, and perfect for a VR party.

this game could very easily be a game that someone just grabbed a bunch of assets from the unity store cobbled together and threw on steam but what it actually is, is a beautifully crafted gem with simple mechanics that is easy to do yet fun to master. that silly mistake that cost you the level will just make you want to come back for more and more. the throwing feels solid and fun and taking the time to master you technique is key. i fully recommend this game to anyone who wants to try something different or wants a pass and play party game with friends to introduce them to VR yes i receive this produce for free but would gladly buy it in fact i think i might and do a give away

Axe Throw VR does for my upper arms what SPT does for my thighs - exhilarating fun after 10 minutes, a workout after 30, and feeling it the next day after an hour! Really enjoy the recently added Survival Zombie mode, a great addition to the previous target practice mode. I have some qualms over the user interface as it jumps between laser pointer, axe throwing, grip buttons and touch pads, but it’s made up for with fun design and an energetic pumping soundtrack. Well worth the price of admission.

The best way to throw axes short of doing it for real! Great on the HTC Vive. It's hard but feels very good when you succeed. What more could you axe for?

This is a simple game that rocks and has great replay value. One of those games that you go back and play sometimes, solo or when with a friend at home. They aced that "feeling" that I look for in a VR game. the controls are good, the game is simple, but they make it quick and fun.

The axe throwing physics are wonderfully done making you feel it's entirely your skill that's felling zombies and striking a bullseye in the target challenge. The Zombie wave game plays great, but I'd say I prefer the target throwing game because it feels incredibly satisfying planting axes in the wooden targets and the variation of each stage as it becomes more challenging. Awesome game.

So much fun and great exercise for the arms! I'm always a little out of breath when I'm done and it is truly a great time. One of the best bargains on Steam!

I do recommend this game, its very fun to play. The game is polish and well done. I will definitely play again to practice my throw.
