About
Axe Ghost is an unforgiving turn-based spatial battle against an advancing monster horde. You play cards to manipulate enemies. Group them up and wipe them out to climb the daily leaderboard.

Each run lasts around 20 minutes. The weapons dealt let you push, swap, clone, slice, freeze, magnetize and destroy the advancing monsters before they reach the bottom of the grid. Group them cleverly - the more monsters you destroy in a single attack, the more each one is worth. Accept optional constraints in the form of Quests to multiply your score. Spend Coins to play extra cards in critical moments.

Lord Garnemar, the loathsome boss, is only vulnerable when surrounded on four sides by the same type of monster. Defeat him before deadly robots overrun the battlefield and the timer runs out.
Fragments is a collection of 21 hand‑crafted puzzles by Richard Boeser (ibb & obb, Dubio). With a single hand of cards you must rearrange the monsters to achieve the objective. Fragments can be completed in any order. They begin gently, the hardest ones are tough.
I hear them approaching.

Since the levels are procedurally generated, no run felt the same. It felt fresh, and as you progress and get better, you unlock more items that will show up to use on the cards. Items you select can then get highlighted with stars to discover hidden objects that can increase the multiplier and your points. This became addicting immediately, and a 20-minute session easily turned into 2 hours.
Amazing tactical puzzler.
I've for a while been looking for a very tactical puzzle game that is a really solid challenge to play. I'm not the greatest at puzzles, but this is definitely hitting this itch. The music, art, sound effects and particles are really nice and overall, I really dig the visual style. It's very unique and offer a lot of solutions to the puzzles. I find it's a very satisfying challenge and doing routs! really is something else, when you pull off a complete boss powermove!
game one: line up spooky monsters, play axe card get 3 point. rinse repeat. sometimes combo 5 to 8 spooky monsters. end run with 500 points game two: more bigger fatter combo's and lose run early because of oversight. 900 points. game five: take my time to play each card with absolute precission. lose on time 600 points. game 20: find the flow. build massive combo's score 3000 points. die to the boss game 25: hit by laser or boss. game lost count: got the boss ending the run early future games: trying not to kill the boss, but barely keep it alive extending the run and scoring more points easy to learn / hard to master easy to get lost in / hard to let go easy to enjoy / hard to hate really nice leaderboard puzzeler
Great puzzle game. What you see from the video/images is what you get in the game. Performance is solid, works well on Deck.
This is quite a nice puzzle-combat game. You have to clear enemies by grouping them as much as possible together to score more points or even earn a coin which lets you do a set of extra actions before the enemies move down a row. After a while, the boss comes out. He needs a couple of hits to take him down. You can move, swap, alter and destroy enemies by choosing one action on three given cards each per round. You always see the next set of cards. At a certain time, discarding cards starts quests. There are three in which you have to take a highlighted action. If you complete all those, you gain a score multiplier. The moment you chose another action, the quest is lost and you have to discard another card to activate the quest again. After a couple of tutorial steps, you can participate in daily runs which always have a random set of two extra cards available during battle. Certain combinations are definitely harder than others. It can be quite tricky to choose your next moves, or even the sequence of them. Do you go for the multiplier or that bigger group or don't you want to risk getting bad cards later and die? The music is pleasantly calm. A play takes 10-20 minutes. There is a timer but don't worry, you can just ignore it and continue playing. I'm pretty bad at it but I like it. EDIT: Nov 16/25 I just finished all puzzles of the free fragments update, a very nice addition. This game deserves more attention.
