Avian Knights

Cheap mobile game, I'd wait for it to go at least down to 3$ on sale for what you will get out of it. Even then, you might as well just emulate joust.

Just FYI I have put in dozens of hours into this game through the new Atari VCS, but also have it on Steam, so figured I'd leave a review. This game is similar to the arcade classic Joust but has all sorts of weapons and other things that separate it out into its own game. The eSports mechanics seem really solid to me, with tons of variety and strategy. This game can be really hard! Know that to kill the dinosaur flying things you need to hit them in the face with a jousting stick, no other weapon will work. Some powerups will slow/stall them. You have tiers of weapons that power up, and your bird also powers up and gets abilities. There is a neat mechanic where you can spawn an egg to respawn your knight, or get to the bird powerup with your knight to respawn your bird. Fun game!

I did not like the game. It reminds me of a Flash game from the early to mid 2000s, or perhaps a cheap shovelware iPhone game from the early 2010s. The game is not worth $15. If it were $3 or less I would give it a positive review. I regret spending my money on this.

This game sucks, the creator of it sucks and is everything wrong with the corporate world. This game is dead, and I'm sure there are flash games that will provide a better experience than this. The backgrounds in the game are just photos of Florida

This is a super fun arcade game. If you love Joust or other classic arcade games, this game does a great job of putting a modern twist on an old classic while still keeping some of the old arcade feel. The use of leader boards and tournaments brings back the classic arcade feel and fun. I definitely recommend trying it out,

Fun game! It is definitely a challenge as you get farther in but nice that you can start at a recent wave.

Avian Knights is a really fun arcade style game that reminds me of Joust but so much better with lots of power up weapons, interesting game mechanics, and built in daily, monthly, and yearly tournaments. There are two version of the game included in this-- an arcade mode (with up to 2 players playing co op for highscores) and an arena mode. The arena mode is a fun 8 player party game like Knight Squad and super smash bros. I've played both versions and they appeal to players who love competition and players who want to hang out and play with their buds on a weekend. Add this to your PARTY game collection for sure!

This game is REALLY good. I love Joust and this builds on a classic, with new game modes and enhancements, things that should have been in the original game. I'm glad Atari is working with Alan-1 to release this in arcades. I can't wait for more!
