Reviews
One of the most relaxing games I have ever played.
Relaxing music based puzzler.
Auditorium is a puzzle game where you must guide beams of light towards various objectives. It starts simple, but it gradually introduces new mechanics, while combining them with older ones. Usually there are multiple ways to clear each level, and there’re a lot of them, although the game only lasts for a few hours since the levels are short. Despite what the title may suggest, sound is only used as an additional clue that you’re making progress. Since there’re also visual indicators, you can play this without sound at all. The game is cool, but it only plays at a lower resolution and framerate. It would greatly benefit from a remaster, also adding some achievements as well. Still, I can recommend it for cheap if you enjoy puzzle games.

Auditorium is a fascinating blend of puzzle-solving, music creation, and visual art developed and published by Cipher Prime Studios. Rather than challenging players with conventional obstacles, the game builds its entire identity around the manipulation of flowing streams of light. Each level presents a minimalist environment where particles travel across the screen, and the player must redirect them into colored containers using various interactive fields. While the objective sounds simple on paper, the execution creates an experience that is both intellectually engaging and emotionally calming. Auditorium stands out because it transforms every successful solution into part of a larger musical composition, making players feel as though they are simultaneously solving puzzles and performing music. The game's central mechanic revolves around controlling particle streams through the strategic placement and adjustment of influence fields. These fields bend, rotate, attract, or alter the flow of light, allowing players to guide particles toward their destinations. Early levels serve as gentle introductions to the mechanics, but the complexity gradually increases as new elements and interactions are introduced. Players must consider multiple particle streams, color changes, split pathways, and intricate routing challenges. The progression feels carefully designed, consistently presenting new ideas without overwhelming the player. Each puzzle encourages experimentation, rewarding creative thinking rather than strict adherence to a single obvious solution. One of Auditorium’s greatest strengths is how seamlessly it combines gameplay with music. Every container that receives particles activates a musical layer, adding instruments, harmonies, and rhythms to the soundtrack. As more objectives are completed, the music evolves from sparse melodies into rich, complete compositions. This design choice gives every puzzle a unique sense of satisfaction because success is not measured solely by visual completion but also by the audible transformation of the music. The player effectively becomes both puzzle solver and conductor, assembling songs piece by piece through their actions. Visually, Auditorium embraces a minimalist artistic style that remains striking even years after its release. The dark backgrounds allow the glowing particle streams and vibrant colors to stand out dramatically. The motion of the particles creates a sense of elegance and fluidity that makes simply watching the game enjoyable. Rather than relying on detailed environments or complex graphical effects, the presentation focuses on clarity and beauty. This artistic restraint complements the gameplay perfectly, ensuring that players can easily understand puzzle elements while still appreciating the game's aesthetic appeal. The soundtrack deserves special recognition because it serves as more than background music. Each level contains compositions that respond directly to player progress, making the audio an active part of the experience. The music ranges from soothing ambient arrangements to more energetic and layered pieces, all of which contribute to the game's relaxing atmosphere. The dynamic nature of the soundtrack strengthens the connection between gameplay and artistic expression, creating a level of immersion that few puzzle games achieve. Players often find themselves motivated not only by solving the puzzle but also by hearing the full musical piece come together. The game’s structure includes multiple acts and a substantial number of puzzles that steadily increase in difficulty. The challenge curve is generally well-balanced, though some later puzzles may require significant patience and experimentation. Because the mechanics are built around manipulating abstract systems rather than following explicit instructions, certain solutions can take time to discover. For players who enjoy logical thinking and methodical problem-solving, this depth is highly rewarding. Those seeking fast-paced action, however, may find the slower and more contemplative pace less appealing. Another notable aspect is the emotional tone of the experience. Auditorium is not driven by narrative storytelling, character development, or dramatic events. Instead, it communicates through atmosphere, sound, and interaction. The absence of traditional storytelling allows players to focus entirely on the relationship between music, movement, and puzzle-solving. This design gives the game a timeless quality that distinguishes it from many puzzle titles that rely heavily on narrative hooks. Although Auditorium excels in originality, some players may encounter minor frustrations. The abstract nature of certain puzzles can occasionally make solutions feel obscure, and the minimalist presentation sometimes provides limited guidance. Additionally, players looking for extensive replay value beyond puzzle completion may find the experience somewhat finite once all challenges have been mastered. Nevertheless, these concerns are relatively minor compared to the creativity and craftsmanship demonstrated throughout the game. Auditorium remains one of the most distinctive puzzle games available on Steam. By combining elegant visual design, dynamic musical composition, and thoughtful puzzle mechanics, it delivers an experience that feels genuinely unique. Cipher Prime Studios successfully transformed abstract concepts into engaging gameplay, creating a title that appeals to puzzle enthusiasts, music lovers, and players seeking something different from mainstream releases. Its blend of creativity, atmosphere, and intellectual challenge ensures that it remains memorable long after the final puzzle has been solved. Rating: 8/10
An all-time favorite of mine. Challenging and relaxing at the same time
This is a very beautiful game that combines music and colors in a wonderful, captivating mix. I remember playing this game roughly 10 years ago and I'm pretty sure it was in some kind of Flash form on a website somewhere, maybe even an app on my old tablet, either way I really enjoy how it seems to accurate to what goes on in my head when I listen to really powerful instrumental/orchestral kind of music. If you love music and various visual/graphical art, you'll love this game!
Кайфушка!
So Beautiful. It's an Incredibly good Flash game that I'm glad came to Steam
