Attack of the Karens

I have a thing for obscure, weird games. It's in my middle name. Story-wise the game is hilarious, quirky and the concept is very entertaining. It's worth the price if you're looking for something light to play and I feel that the overall gameplay is similar to vampire survivors than it is a traditional shoot em up (shmup). For a shmup game, it's "alright." I would love to see just little improvements, such as gamepad/keybind re-mapping. I feel like that's a critical functionality in platformer/shmup games in general for replayability-- replayability as in achieving high scores and/or speedrunning. Another improvement that would be amazing would be the difference in color for player vs enemy bullets. Don't get me wrong, the artwork and animation are great but with the game's colors being extremely monotone, makes it hard on the eyes to establish what it is we can and cannot avoid (and I've played many shmups). Other than those two desired improvements, I would say this is worth the purchase! It's cheap. It's comedic. It's worth the $4.99. Can't wait to see what other games the devs has to offer!
