Ehhh, I don't know. It's pretty cheap and I didn't have a terrible time but at the same time it doesn't do anything a hundred similar games haven't done before, and in many cases a lot better. The puzzles are not bad per say, but a few of them are really streaching it in the logic and there were more than one really bad graphic glitch. Like on a puzzle where you are mapping a waveform (you can see it on one of the pictures) and parts of it can end up outside of the monitor...). The graphics overall doesn't really impress, i get what they are going for but I don't think it worked all the way, especially much of the text in the game looks really cheep, the bar early on is especially ugly looking. Graphics is usually not that big of a deal but since they sell the game with "Discover a Beautiful Retro futuristic world rendered with colorful high-quality graphics", i really have to call them out on that. It looks and plays like a game from the early 2000s. It's also pretty short. On the positive side, there is a good notebook collecting all the important things you have to remember (however sometimes it adds something you might not even have realized was a hint, making the puzzle much easier, so it goes both ways if it's good or bad). There is also a hint system if you get stuck on one of the more obtuse puzzles. All in all, it's not a terrible game, just not a very impressive one and it doesn't really have anything special going for it. They are also clearly setting up the next chapter of the game with the ending.
It's a small game with some nice puzzles. It looks like an intro to a bigger game and ends on a cliffhanger. I will wait for the next part, this one I really liked.
How refreshing it is to see a game with this futuristic retro cartoon aesthetic. It is very interesting, the game and its puzzles work very well.
I just finished this retrofuturistic point-and-click game, and it was amazing! The art style is gorgeous, combining vintage vibes with cool futuristic touches. The story had me hooked, and the puzzles were fun. The soundtrack really sets the mood, We definitely need more games like this one. If you love point-and-click adventures, you have to try it!
Very short game, misspellings and bugs, counter-intuitive puzzles and controls. Would hesitate to recommend this game if it were free.
Gorgeous artwork and excellent puzzles! This game feels like a 60's spy cartoon combined with escape room-style challenges, though it takes place in a house rather than a single room. It also brings to mind another game called "Agent A," and I think it's just as good. I had a blast navigating through the game. Be prepared to scratch your head a few times while figuring out your next move and clicking obsessively to find interactive elements. Some puzzle solutions are quite unconventional, but most make perfect sense. Once you get into the flow of solving puzzles, it’s incredibly satisfying to make progress. However, being stuck can really slow things down. One feature I particularly appreciated was the game’s notepad, which keeps track of crucial clues and combinations. It's a fantastic reference if you prefer to avoid the hint button. The game also introduces puzzles that can’t be solved until later, making it genuinely exciting to finally progress in sections you encountered 45 minutes earlier.
Pros - Interesting puzzle design, a couple of tricky/gotcha parts but mostly the game flows along nicely IMHO. - Fantastic 1960's aesthetic with atomic-punk vibes. Layout of the house is great and fun to explore. - Good controls, entirely playable with the mouse, navigation and interaction was all pleasant enough. - Basic but solid UI. - Solid auto-save -Built in help system that doesn't give too much away Cons - Some hot-spots/interaction points were a bit off or just too big or sometimes overlapped. Sometimes you could navigate to the next room unexpectedly and some times you could interact with other points of interest at the same time as the one you are focused on. - No v sync, runs at a high frame rate with frequent tearing - No voice acting - There is a computer thing for tracking clues and it mostly works well but it does group the clues rather oddly. Overall a nice chill game with just the right level of challenge in my opinion. Recommended.
I can easily recommend this game if you are after an escape room fix. It's not a very long game, only taking me a couple hours to complete, but its asking price is very low, even when not on sale. I think $5 for a couple hours with a game that feels as hand-crafted as this, is worth it. There's a couple unintuitive puzzles and visual glitches; but overall, a solid game. The art direction is a stand out to me. I think that the 'retro-futuristic' aesthetic is executed very well, with lots of great design on the props and environment, as well as very charming 2d illustrations both in-game and in the intro and ending cutscenes.
It's a good little game. The design is pretty good, music fits the theme. The puzzles aren't very difficult but it lasted about an hour and a half of play time.
A short escape-room-style puzzle adventure, designed with mobile platforms in mind, similar to Agent A (it even has a rodent helping the player with one puzzle). Click on everything to find codes/clues/items to unlock doors and lock-boxes with more codes/clues/items to progress. Remember to come back to those containers which could not be opened when first discovered. There are no logic puzzles here - all of them are observational. The game has a limited inventory for some reason, so if you cannot pick up an item you just need to use one from the inventory in a puzzle to free up a slot - items disappear upon correct interactions. The hint system only displays one hint, which is supposed to be the most relevant one to the player at any given point, but it does not always guess correctly. As a result, it may give away a solution to a puzzle not yet encountered. There are no manual save slots - only the one autosave slot. The game took just over two hours to complete, with a strong hint at a sequel to come very soon.
