Astro Lords: Oort Cloud, a free to play game that focuses heavily on base managment and ship battles. The gameplay itself feels a heavy mobile game influence, even on the PC version of the game. This of course is for the obvious reason that Astro Lords is also a mobile game. That fact would be a huge negative for most PC players but I can look past it and honestly I see a good game underneath. Astro Lords is not a simple game to describe, the easiest way for you to know if you like it is this. Ask yourself ''am I ok with real time building/research and microtransaction advancement?" if the answer is yes or maybe I would give Astro Lords a try. If not you should go ahead and skip it.

Awesome concept, and a little different to games of the same genre as this is a cross of 3D space and a 2D battle system. I would recommend for people who are into spending time into their games, but this is far from a casual game as it takes hours to complete most tech.
I hate leaving bad reviews on games with alot of potential and addicting gameplay... but thier staff has left me no choice :C!!! AVOID THIS GAME IF YOU ARE IN THE USA !!! Now I have been playing this game since it released (about 21 hours off of steam) and I have had a great expereince with this game... until I ran into problems and loading bugs... Astro Lords can be rather fun and addicting! the tablet style of gameplay works well with a point and click style that makes it very uniqe table top like scifi shooter. However there are several downsides to this game. This game is rather simple and unfortently everyone only speaks russian! (Or very broken english to the point you still cannot understand them). There are zero western servers and all of the servers are located in russia which cause lag and connection issues. They also have one of the most disrespectful support staff I have ever encountered. Not only are they rude, but they consider helping americans a waste of time. (Thier words not mine!) I highly recomend avoiding this game due to the fact of, if you have an issue, no one will help you.

Ported browser "strategy" from Russia Pros: - decent graphics considering the genre - there are leaderboards and events - you can place various weapons in your ship Neutral: - you can control the ship, and when you do you have to aim manualy Cons: - microtransactions, of course ; however they are inevitable for this genre - waiting times are long (i've just finished tutorial, tried to fight and died, now my captain needs some microchips in order to fight again, and for them i need to 3 researches where each takes more than 1 day) - small community which consists mainly out of russians - this game is translated to english from russian so translations arent perfect

This game has potensial to be a good game, but I cant recomend it now! Its full of microtransactions and I meen FULL!! It feels like a p2w mobilgame! I even tried to buy vip to see if that would help...It doesn`t, you have to buy alot of currency for alot of money. And a heads up if you are gone buy currency, you dont get what it says! I bought pack with 400 + 25%, but only got the 400 credits. If you are rich and this doesn`t bother you, it`s a OK game..
its a fun game, with a strong economy and PvP feel, It's rather lightweight and very capable of running in the background.. I have advanced somewhat in the game, gained captains and an extra asteroid but i do not like that i am visible to elite players with six captains able to send one capitol ship to decimate my scouts and frigates and steal all of my hard earned resources so very often. I believe the devs should change the mechanics somehow to fix this. Other than that i recommend this game for at least a try, you may find it as appealing as i have.
