I love 4x games in general, I like the art, I like the concept of having different planets be better at different jobs instead of just terraforming everything eventually, but this game is extremely, fundamentally, broken and there is no further developer support forthcoming. Three of the game's races break planet management when you load a save game playing as them, causing all planet population icons to disappear and preventing you from adjusting anything. This happens even with a save on turn one, so I cannot believe this passed even a most basic QA process. A new game will outright fail to start with certain combinations of traits on a custom race, alt-f4 and try again. Again, extremely basic QA failure. One such combo is creative, happy, high gravity, wasteful, subterranean. After navigating all that, I got around 200 turns playing as the basic humans on default settings, and then the next day the save would not load at all. Despite all these issues, I did have fun when the game was actually working. But not enough fun to leave the game running for days to avoid save/load issues while still finishing a match.
