Reviews
it's just more AC4 with a good-ish story, buy if a fan or want to finish the kenway story line

Nice! Quote: "Remember that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Probably worth a google?"
Most based game in the series.
Very short, very underrated, but also very fun. If you loved Black Flag, this is literally spin off expansion and good bridge between AC4 - AC3 - AC Unity.
Despite the similar foundation, Rogue's gameplay improved on AC4 nicely. Naval combat was given significantly more variety in particular. The story is a little short and the Assassins are portrayed nonsensically irrational to give the main characters decisions more validity. Rogue pretty much just mirrors the black and white of the usual Assassin's Creed instead of hitting the grey tone that made AC3's characters work as well. Either way, it connects AC3 and AC4 well and builds a perfect bridge towards Unity and the next era of Assassin's Creed games. It is just unfortunate, that this never led to any conclusion and Shay's story more or less leads nowhere, which is a huge missed opportunity given the established characters that he could have interacted with in the rest of his life time.
