Reviews
I really want to like this game but it is unbelievably buggy. Including but not limited to getting stuck in cover with almost no way out, Arno falling forever, not going into hiding spots, getting shot through crowds, getting shot through walls, getting shot through smoke, map cursor not moving, grass spawning in 5 feet away, and the cherry on top my save getting reverted back to the first chapter. People say Ubisoft "fixed" this game but if this is "fixed" I can't imagine how horrible this game was before.

great games but always have issue when login ubisoft..then they not try to fix it..my account already got suspended for 5 times in just a WEEK like WTH ubisoft..
Listen, I love Unity, it's one of my personal favorites in the AC Franchise. I already played a good chunk of it on PS4 where I finished the main story and the Dead Kings DLC. But man, the ISSUES that come with the PC version thanks to Ubisoft Connect is UNBEARABLE. A good 80% of my really small play time on PC is just me trying to FIX my SUSPENDED ACCOUNT which gets suspended for no reason 100% of the time. I followed the instructions of Ubisoft "Support" the first time I got suspended for "multiple incorrect logins" which were change password, enable 2FA, and set device as Trusted Devices on Ubisoft account management. And yet here I am, suspended once again even though I already did everything right. Please, just don't even bother with buying this game.
too much issue with login account
THANK YOU EVERYTHING already FINISHED 100%. Thank Your Very Much. then now i will find another game ASSASSIN'S CREED NEXT

--Assassin's Creed Unity-- This review will be summed up in 3 parts: Wasted potential, Pure misery and Soul soothing experience 1. Wasted Potential This game was too ambitious for a company like Ubisoft. From the moment one picks this game up till the time one put it down after finishing it, one can see the potential that was there waiting to be refined and cooked with a little more thought and consideration but wasn't. The story is lackluster with the prologue and the first memory serving little to no purpose. Arno Dorian (protagonist), his entire life revolves around chasing his love interest Elise de la Seure (a Templar) with very little character change making him one dimensional and just bland until the very end where you cannot feel anything for him. Even the Story outside of Arno, ranging from other NPC's to the Villain are also lackluster or not fleshed out enough for the player to feel immersed. Worse part? It is revealed at the tail end in the modern story that everything you went through is completely redundant making this game with the Assassin's Creed timeline a waste of space to exist. 2. Pure Misery The parkour in this game is atrocious with the jagginess, input delays, Arno doing one thing when you want him to do another and bugs that still exists. Cover system is also there with the sake of being there and the combat is also clunky when it could have been more refined making the experience incredibly frustrating. Add in the collectibles required to get 100% achievements in the game, well it's a torture session 101. Overall, the game tries too take itself too seriously and fails. Online Co-op is also there which can be done Solo although you do need a player if you are trying to get 100% achievements. Nothing noteworthy about this mode as well. 3. Soul Soothing experience Even in the negatives there are some positives, the same is with Unity. The setting of French Revolution France is gorgeous especially with the amount of crowd Ubisoft was able to incorporate in 2014. The setting is in the Top 3 best settings for Assassin's Creed games ever. Although the parkour system is not explained enough in the tutorial making it frustrating, if given time to understand and master the mechanics, it can be the most satisfying experience travesing through France which was the case for me on a few different occassions. Same thing can be said about the combat. Overall, if the game blesses you with no hitch and behaves the way you want then surely you are in for a treat. However, that's where the issues comes in. I cannot recommend a game (even at 75% discount) just for the setting and on an off-chance it works smoothly. The lackluster story, characters, minor bugs and just the amount of potential wasted makes it a hard recommendation hence buy it at your own expense or if you enjoy Assassin's Creed franchise and want to experience all the games. If the game goes on Sale at 85-90% discount then it is worth getting but at 75% you are still paying more. Overall, I really want to love this game and a part of me does but just the thought of what could've been rather than what was given will always weigh heavy on me. Is it the worst game in the franchise? Far from it, rather this is a bitter sweet romantic interest that got away which you still feel emotionally heavy after all these years later. For 100% achievements hunter, this game is alright in its achievements with the grindy ones being getting around 400 collectibles and solving enigmas to get an outfit. Try getting the co-op ones out of the way if the servers ever shuts down. My Ratings: Excluding the 100% achievements: 5/10 Including the 100% achievements: 3/10
