Ashi: Lake of Light

A visually beautiful puzzle game with an interesting core mechanic that matches well with the theme. The difficulty progresses pretty steadily as new sub-mechanics are introduced as you pass through the levels. There are around 90 levels, with very few of them being 'tutorial levels'. Overall difficulty is mid, I would say, with the hardest levels perhaps being high-mid. Well worth the price and deserves more attention IMO.

A very soothing and aesthetically pleasing puzzle game. The mechanics are easy to learn but the difficulty ramps up quickly, so you can feel clever for figuring things out.

Really nice puzzle game, with smooth and relaxing ambiance. The difficulty graduate gently with the level, showing you news mechanics, bit by bit. What I like the most about thoses games is that it's let's you assimilate the mechanics and discover the solution on our own, with little help at the beginning (mini tutorial). It's make you try over and over again to find the solution. I particulary love the path you have to choose at some point (Ying yang, teleport and the combinaison of thoses two!) It's really interesting and challenging. Good work! I definetly recommand this game!

Ashi: Lake of Light is a very good puzzler that has zen vibes. The first thing I liked is the menu, it is the first thing you interact with after watching few logos :) The whole game is beautifully stylized. I love the transitions between levels. The music is good, bit repetitive but that is a minor complaint. This is a puzzle game. So what about puzzles ? Well, the puzzles are simple but hit that sweet spot if you are suffering from puzzler fatigue like I am. Nice difficulty curve, easy at first but they get harder toward the end. By harder I mean medium difficulty, complex but never frustrating. I can recommend this to anyone who likes puzzlers.

Love the game, a pleasing puzzler with a charming aesthetic and enjoyable game-play that does steadily increase in difficulty but remains possible to figure out at each stage. Only downside is no steam achievements.

머리 좀 쓴답시고 머릿속이나 그림판으로 예상 경로를 그리면서 7~80 스테이지 정도 깨다가 '아니 X발 글로 꺾으면 안 되는데!?' 하면서 수많은 반딧불이를 허공으로 날려보내며 길을 뚫게 되는 퍼즐게임. 그래서 스테이지 2개는 어디 숨겨놓았길래 90/92임? 사이드까지 다 뚫었는데 2개 덜 깼다고 떠서 하나하나 다시 세어봐도 90개 밖에 없는데.
